It was a very difficult decision to put the products in a number 10 order, as they all do different cleaning jobs. But the Mitt was always the number 1 for me, as it got me away from the sponge. My next video is a review on your Polar Wash Series, which I purchased from your eBay shop. I am looking forward to trying them out. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you too. I agree about the RCS, it is good stuff. As for the mit, they are better than a spongs, dirt can get trapped on the surface of the sponge and cause scratches whereas dirt gets held in the mit and away from the paint.

Yep, I like Autoglym products too. My favourites are Aqua Wax, Fast Glass, Instant Tyre Dressing and Resin Polish. I also use a Wash Mitt in preference to a sponge and achieve far better results, bits break off sponges when they catch on a sharp edge and they lose their effectiveness very quickly. Me personally, I think snow foam looks sexy when it goes on but achieves very little in practice when it comes to the decontamination part. I thoroughly soak my car beforehand and use the Mitt and bucket only (two buckets if it's really dirty. For me, snow foam achieves very little for the cost outlay, however, I know others will disagree with me.🙂 Instant tyre dressing is quick and does a good job of smartening up tyres between washes. Fast Glass, ditto. Regular use of Aqua Wax keeps the gloss protection topped up with very little effort. For a deep decontamination of the paintwork if needed I just use a Clay Block, simple but effective. Enjoyed your videos and wish you and yours a merry Christmas and see you in the new year.🙂👍

Lovely house. I’ve used Turtle wax hybrid solution and that looks similar. Unfortunately that particular product streaks on my dark blue car. I wonder if the product you use is similar? How long does it last? Credit to you and your channel
@nigelbryant5932 Many thanks for the kind words. The Ceramic Spray is supposed to last around 3 months, I believe. I didn't experience any streaks either. My next video is a review on Autoglym Polar Series, which is a 3 stage process that finishes on the protect wash. I'm looking forward to trying it out, but the weather has been terrible. I use Koch Chemie Protector Wax. After washing and rinsing the car, you put 30ml of Protector Wax into a pump sprayer containg 1 litre of water. Spray the whole car whilst it's still wet after rinsing. Pressure wash or hose the Wax off. Dry the car with microfiber towels. You're left with a shiny waxed car, that beads up nicely if it rains.

@@CarCleaningAtHome I think you'll like that! Top Tip, some people believe that leaving Polar Seal on to dwell before rinsing off will improve the performance, however the reverse is actually true. Get it on and then rinse if off with the pressure washer.

As a ex valeter of 19 years,we seem to have moved on from Supergaurd, But for the record,most modern paints are water based and like ever thing, it De-generates, Your money would be better spent on a quality polish and dedication time to polish the paint on a regular basis

I like the hydrophobics and the added gloss on the stunning BMW Estoril Blue paint. The last ceramic spray I used was Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Spray-on Ceramic Coating and I had issues with streaking and striping all over my beautiful little VW Polo's Diamond Black bodywork. Suddenly, it looked terrible. I thought I ruined it. I had to go back over it again with Super Resin Polish to remove all those blotches and racing stripes. From what I've seen here, this Autoglym RCS appears to have the right balance. I'm sure it's readily available, I must get some.
I’ve had the same issues with streaking while using the Turtle wax ceramic spray, both on my car and caravan. Total pest having to go over it again, might try some of this Autoglym stuff though as they tend to be pretty good. I find it’s not so easy using products like this in the British winter so I’m using Halfords ceramic foam sealant as an after wash which is pretty good as a protectant top up.
I have that exact same Showaddywaddy tape. Fantastic group, I think it was Christmas 1981 when I was given it.

You need to try Autoglym 's Polar Seal, its gives the same results and takes 2 mins to apply with a foam cannon.

Cool i have never used autoglym, i have a Mazda mx5 soft top , and use Maguires waterless wash and waterless wheel wash. As i don't have access to a hose , and don't take it to the car wash as it as a soft top . But great TH-cam thanks.

Iv'e used it and can thoroughly recommend it too! Super easy to apply although not sure how long it will last... I guess it depends on many factors..

Great recommendation, I will buy some to find out for myself. Re-applying the product should at least be quick, easy and fun, so I wouldn't really mind doing it again if it only lasted from about a fortnight to a month.
You will get at least 2 months from it, especially if using a rinseless wash weekly before it gets too dirty. A bottle will last forever ax you only need about 1e sprays for a full car

Hi mate you should try the polar seal same amount of beading lasts for a month at least. it's the ease of application that's the winner. Put it in snow cannon spray it on rinse it off ideal for winter months.

Good video, many thanks. I've used this product and it is very good, adds a fair amount of gloss, a little goes a long way, as you say it gives incredible beading and is easy to use. The only downside I found is the poor-ish durability. Stay safe.

@CarCleaningAtHome I don't think you did. I would have jetwashed off the reacted spots to avoid scratching the car. That is how you normally use fallout remover. Otherwise you are dragging contaminated iron across your paint

@CarCleaningAtHome I buy fallout remover in 5 litre bottles because you use a fair amount. I use it twice a year on my car collection for decon wash. I use a citrus pre wash and jet wash car and let it dry and then I apply the fallout and jetwash off once it has reacted. If you use twice a year you don't get much. Maybe the Magma is a different product
@captainking4426 That's a great idea buying it in larger quantities. I used half the bottle of Magma, so it will do just 2 processes. I will definitely try your tip on jet washing the Magma off next time. Thanks again for the feedback.
@CarCleaningAtHome I pay about 15 for 5 litre bottles of different potion from EZ in Cheshire on their 3 bottles promotions. They have constant deals so watch carefully to avoid overpaying
