You can vacuum it a thousand times, the fact that it is necessary to change the carbon pelets inside (in this case means replace whole filter) will not change it.....

Should I vacuum the front and back of the HEPA filter or just the one facing out? I noticed the inside part of our HEPA filter is starting to tear and maybe it's because of the vacuuming.
