Question for you: What is the surface of the base like? Is it solid or does it feel like a wire mesh? Looking to put a Japanese mattress on one of these and they are pretty thin.

Bought USED similar unit. VREMI E2 for $150. Same internals as this company. Works great and fast. WIll love it until it dies. Currently very happy and fast ice. Wish ice bin were better insulated so that it melts less, but such is life.

I have one of these. You did not mention that they need to be descaled annually, especially if you live in an area that has hard water.

This is not a 12ft x 30inch. if you look at there video it's a 4.86m x 1.22m pool set up

I dont think this is a 30 inch? you can step right over the side on a 30 inch and theres no ladder. Think this is a different pool

I don’t really see a big difference in the premier vs DX4 besides ultra fine filters but you can buy those for the dx4 if needed.

May I just comment if the componentry is made by Curtis International, run, don't walk to return it. I have had 2 RCA units made for RCA by Curtis and their warranty service department is abysmal. My machines generated a 2H error code that even Curtis couldn't explain! I had submit 20 pictures and video....horrific.
