Trent Agecoutay is continually working to create his own form in roots music. Deep seeded in the heart of South Central Alberta, his songwriting is taking on a life of it's own. Drawing from family, heritage and the slowly fading honky tonks of Canada, Trent's songs have been gaining attention nationally, recently nominated in the 2011 Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards for Best Duo or Group and Best Country Album, as well as one nomination in the 2012 Native American Music Awards for Best Country Recording with his Family Band Duster. Weather playing his bass in Duster or producing new material in his studio, Trent is bound and determined to give a refreshing perspective on country and roots music
