Becouse nothing we can do in the flesh can justify our sins we have committed . So our flesh will have judgement but if you believe on Christ for his sacrifice then your soul will have the righteousness of jesus in the fathers eyes . Becouse he became sin for us . A gift is something that someone else earned and gives it to you with out expecting something in return. And if someone says it last for eternity but then its taken away then it neverlasted forever and that makes them a liar . AND GOD IS NOT A LIAR Repent means to change your mind ..so repent and believe the gospel means to go from not believing to believing....GOD REPENTED MORE THAN ANYONE IN THE BIBLE . AND HE IS THE MOST HOLY AND IS THE STANDERED FOR PERFECTION.SO DONT LET ANY ONE TELL YOU TO REPENT OF YOUR SINS FOR SALVATION . JESUS DIED FOR ALL SINS AND HIS SACRIFICE IS ENOUGH FOR YOUR SALVATION YOU JUST HAVE BELIEVE THAT HE DIED WAS BARRIED AND ROSE AGAIN AND ITS ALL ON HIM FOR YOUR RIGHTOUSNESS TO GET INTO HEAVEN Hope this helps someone to understand its a eternal gift thats free and forever and by faith alone
