Where can I get the marks from

Great video! Thank you 👍
I'm currently restoring a 1979 Trans Am. I notice the gauge marks website does not offer metric for those with Trans Ams made for Canada. I need to keep my gauges original. The speedometer in my car has KM/hr in white, and Miles/hr in blue, just as it shows in the before photo on the website. Also, I'd need the markings for the clock. It doesn't not say clock in the description. It only mentions all the other gauges as part of the pkg. Please advise. Thank you.
I doubt anyone makes them. 79 was one year only markings.
I know this video was a while ago, but do you repair camaro speedometers or a video to do so? I have a 1986 Z28 and the needle just goes in circles, it's the 145 MPH one.
Hi Sir, could You write your e-mail address ?
Hello sir , I love the way the blue latex turned out, I had no idea latex can be thinned with lacquer thinner. Is latex water based. Can you break down this application for me please . Thank you very much, Bob Mahaney
My 80 Z28 speedo gauge is Canadian, do you make one that's in Kilometers?
$190 for a set of transfers?
Damm. So that's what it will run you.. A and also added cost if other gauges are busted or don't work
It's too costly with $200.00, why that fancy price?
Yeah they’re stupid priced. Should be around $35.
Hi. What about 79-81 Trans Am Tachometer needle and Clock hands. They apparently are removed differently from 78 and older? Could you tell how to remove those please? Thanks!
Whoa!!!good thing I didn't run out and take those off right away it would have broke them and the gauge I thought that was awfully different from the way I seen it done
@@waynepalmer663 It's been 6 years, but as you can see, I never got an answer to how to remove the tachometer needle on 79-81's. Fortunately, I didn't have to remove the tach needle, so I didn't. If I had gotten it off safely, I wasn't sure how I would re-align it when putting it back, so it would still give accurate readings. I did remove the clock and speedometer needles though, so I can give advice for them. The clock needles will come off as he showed in the video. You can carefully slip the wire cutters under the second hand and gently squeeze, and the bevel of of the wire cutters, will pull it up and it pops off. Don't squeeze hard enough to cut anything, just enough to pop up the needle, and it will lift off. And be careful not to scratch the paint off of the hour and minute hands that are underneath the second hand when doing it. Once the second hand is out of the way, the hour and minute hands can probably be removed just by using your fingers. But if stubborn, you could use the wire cutters again. Removing the clock from the tachometer isn't hard to figure out. When you're ready to reinstall the clock hands, they just press on. The second hand is pushed onto a stem in the clock, so a little push in the center of the second hand presses it on the stem so it stays. For the speedometer needle, he also used the wire cutters. It works, but that's not the best way. If you just turn the speedo needle counter-clockwise, against the stop, as if unscrewing it, while lightly lifting it at the same time, it will come right off. It's just a press fit too, like the clock's second hand. When putting it back on, press it on lightly, pointing at around 10 mph, and then rotate it back CCW to align it with zero mph. If at first you miss aligning it with zero, by going too far, you can loosen the needle the same as before and try again until you get it aligned to your satisfaction. Then give it one last little push in the center to press it on the stem of the speedometer head.
Great job! Do you guys fix gauges that do not work? I have a 1992 Camaro and my gauges do not mark right.
Bummer I am as well .. My tack and clock.and the temp gauges... So last year put in mechanical gauge set..oil pressure temp. Tack. Having couple with clock fixedeverything else pics
@gaugemarks thank you for response. I make bodywork before gauge restoration. Maybe I'll restore the gauges in 2nd or 3rd quarter next year. Thank you for creating original artwork of the late 2nd f body gen.
@gaugemarks thats great. Maybe I need it in the last quarter this year or next year. The perfect bodywork has a higher priority this time. But the time for the gauges comes after the bodywork.
@gaugemarks fantastic, maybe in last quarter this year or next year I restore my gauge. Bodywork on my T/A is more important this year. But it's really great to hear that you reproduce the late gauge symbols together with mph and kmh.
Hey happy new year.. Quik question can you do that on a 1991 z28 camaro..if so will u letme know pls..tnx man..:)
Can you create one with the original look too? Because I need a set with metric (km + miles) , Unleaded fuel only, ...... , Because I need a set what looks like a factory gauge (including all other symbols what the 78 had)
