My brother won't come visit me in Delaware because he says there is nothing to do, He did enjoy Constitution yards the one time he came. If you go look at the stack of brochures in any Wilmington Hotel, it is all for stuff to do in PA.
I just think of Wayne’s World when they enter “DE” and are super thrilled 😂
BBQ Sauce makes everything better
No way! What about on a burger?
@@daddiespodcast I said what I said. Burgers. Eggs. Wings. Macaroni. All better with BBQ sauce.
@@benjaminkoontz707 Blasphemy! 😂
Makes sense to me. Lazy people don't care about others
Self checkout is only good for under 20 items, and if you have 10 self check outs, they should never be closed. I have seen a line of people at Aldi for 3 self checkouts and 7 closed ones.
Self-checkout when it works as intended is so good! However, that definitely isn’t always the case!
Very interesting - amazing what he's done in a fairly short space of time, from humble beginnings. On the face of it natural soap is a fairly generic product thats been around for ever, but he's managed to differentiate and build a brand around it. It shows what you can do with a bit of passion, energy and a plan.
Agreed! I think the products truly speak for themselves!
John Larkin is a legend! The real John legend😂 Great dude, amazing products. One of the best in the world. Glad to see you John
I watched BCS before Breaking Bad and I loved both shows. I tried breaking bad before, but the skylar/Walt hj scene and the sons disability (me wrongly thinking he was probably going to die later in the show) turned me off of it. But Better Call Saul had such amazing casting, writing, and performance, that once I was finished I needed more. and then I started BB and was blown away. Both shows are masterpieces.
It's not worse than the ending of How I Met Your Mother.
Ooof. I forgot about that ending.
It's all about mindset. I refuse to put the cart in so that the fellas working at a soul crushing place like Walmart can have a few more minutes outdoors to smoke or vape or just chill out. If we all put carts back, do you think Walmart will keep those people employed?
Honestly, yes. Someone still has to gather the carts from corral and most people have other duties besides just gathering the carts around the lot. But I definitely understand the logic!
Smallville. Lost.
Erik agrees with Lost being up there with having one of the worst endings of all time.
I guess the rats in this country now say you're a bad person for not putting a cart back What will you rats think of next
Worse is ppl who leave cloths in the dressing room. Many leave them off the hangar. Ppl are not being trained.
I think the cart police people are the scurge of humanity.
Nobody returns carts in south Florida and the character of the people here reflects it
It’s an everywhere thing not just Florida. There’s selfish, lazy people everywhere
Wow ! Hmmm . . . Just where might this rate on the global humanity list of priorities ?
Have kids then say this out loud.
We both have multiple kids and still put our carts away.
@@daddiespodcast you missed the point. Glad to know you're a "good dude."
Also able bodied self righteous parking in disabled or family parking bays.
The people who gather the carts enjoy the time away from inside the store. I had to put up a signup sheet for them to figure out when they would go. That and lunch were the two things they enjoyed.
Aldi's is great ! for A simple Quarter. You have organization. ❤
I park right beside the cart corral. Same spot every time. I don't mind parking far away I get to ride my cart there. I'm 41 years old 😂
I got another cart thing that bothers me. Watching people walk past a cart out in the parking lot(especially when they are left in handicap spots) just to go and grab one inside instead. Annoys me way more than it should. I always try to grab a cart from the parking lot on my way in.
That’s a good one. I like to just grab whichever cart is closest in the lot, so if I’m passing a cart on the way in, that’s the one I’m using.
I've worked that job before. The best part of MY day was not helping customers. It was getting carts. So i leave them out to help the next person. And no I'm not being facetious. It was the best part of my day. Rain, shine, snow, heat or cold. Going out and wandering the grounds for carts was so damn fun. Because i got away from the BS of the store. So that is why i do it. Because I'm hoping that I'm giving that next person a way out of the hell that is Retail.
This is a great perspective! Thanks for giving honest insight!
I put the kart where I get it from simple if I get it from inside or the corral I would put it back in the corral but if I park and there’s a cart next to my car ima leave it there when I’m done
Actually that’s not a bad idea 😂
Job Security? 🤷
As a cart pusher in vegas, were it's hot as hel. iv never 1 time thought someone is a bad person because they didn't put the cart back 😂 lets make a list 1. Not feel good 2. They are in their own world 🌎 3. Cart corral is not in the same Parking aisle. And to old to push it all the way. That'ss just a few i could think of. i know when i leave it its never with ill intent.
I put it on the far side of the lot in a position thatbit will not roll away so that the store has to hire some kid to go collect them. It give a kid a job, keeps them off the streets, and the srore owners who are constantly trying to maximize profits instead of quality, well maybe they will loose their mind. I hope I live rent free in their head as a faceless person they just can't fathom how I would do that and make them hire a person to do that.
As a father of seven with two toddlers. I leave them where it’s convenient for me, when I have them. You get paid to collect shopping cart. Either they are not in a convenient spot or no open spaces next to one. I felt the same way when I was like 15. Then I grew up. That doesn’t make me a bad person. It makes this guy be more like a douchebag.
😂😂😂 Eh.
Yeah it might say they just loaded their infant and child into the car...and they do not want to walk away and leave their young children unattended.❤
We both have kids and will bring the kids with us to drop the cart off and take them back with us to the car.
Put the cart back. Don’t be a schmuck!😢
@@shaneyrockfest 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
If everyone did the small things like returning the cart or rewinding their tapes or holding the door for another person it would slowly change peoples mind set and make the world a better place.
That makes too much sense unfortunately!
Rewind their tapes ?
@@Tobysmith90 I forgot about rewinding tapes. Also getting that fresh VHS and moving the tape to the one side for the first time.
I leave the carts out so they can have a smoke break
Its just about if youre an asshole or not...
😂
I do at Publix and Walmart but not at Aldi. You put a quarter in the Aldi cart. There are homeless near that store, living in their cars. I watched a lady, get out of her stuffed full car, one day put away carts away and get the quarter and return to her car. Or it gives someone a little good moment getting a "free" cart.
Aldi is is interesting for that reason. I tend to try to give someone the cart at Aldi, especially if they don’t have a quarter.
Depends on where it's at. Grocery store? Corral. Walmart? I'll turn that buggy upside down next to my vehicle to make sure it doesn't roll into another one..😅
I watched someone literally slam their car into a cart and spiral it into another cart in a Walmart parking lot the other. I see them a lot at Target just being left out.
I tend to find the parking spot as close to the corral as possible, sometimes right next to it.
Growing up my dad used to be so paranoid about those spots because he didn’t want his car to get dinged. I specially try to take those spots just to make my life easier when putting it away.
Professional yappers
😂
As a cart pusher that shit drives me up the wall and back
When people just leave them strewn about?
@@daddiespodcast yep
Been useing the shopping cart theory for years to determine someones character and it just works, everytime they come up with some lame as excuse why they don't do it and it really shows how they precive the world. Those people are half assing work and complain alot with main character syndrom.
It’s interesting to see everyone’s reasoning on why. If you take the cart, put the cart back.
How judgmental to say someone's a bad person for not putting a shopping cart back. Have you ever littered? Guaranteed you have. You're a rotten person for littering. You see how stupid that sounds?
Content
Depends on the day really
I intentionally don’t roll my cart to the cart return because most places hire disabled people to specifically do cart runs, if we all brought our cart back then these people would be collecting more disability benefits which we pay for. Don’t be ignorant about how things work
Eh, that's not 100% true, but appreciate your opinion!
Were I work only people that are fully mobile and can lift at least 40lbs can do cart pushing, if you are disabled you are a liability and will be put into a safer position for both you and the company. Also ,🖕 Just put the cart back you lazy pr1ck
I purposely don't. I help creat jobs 😅
That’s fair! 😂
I hate you as a cart pusher myself
Ask anybody who currently does or who used to corral those carts. When I worked at WalMart and grocery stores when I was younger, I wanted those carts a mile away. Let me have a little walk and avoid the drama of the store for a bit. Catch some sun.
I used to hate gathering the carts before they had that little band to attach them all together 😂
Exactly. im not a bad person i be saving the day w leaving carts a mile out 😂
@daddiespodcast you see I hated the bands or anything that made it easier. I wanted to take a long as possible
Excellent Episode boys. 👍
