I try out some sausages from Aldi and Morrisons. They are not chosen for any particular reason. I'm sure there are many other really nice ones available.
I try a Fray Bentos breakfast at home. Not good!

You can buy more than one flavour your reviews based on one you don't like. Sorry reviews not good at all.
A lot of people love them. I'm one of them. Loved them since I was a kid. God they are tasty. Have them with chips or mash potatoes and peas yum yum.
Remember seeing this on some post and someone asking “what do I do with it?” and I replied “cook per instructions, eat pastry then throw rest in bin or feed to dog/cat if they will eat it” ✌️
Thanks for the interesting video. Fray Bentos pies rely on their previous good reputation. During the covid pandemic, the pies were a handy dinner that could be stored in the food cupboard until needed, but it was like eating a tin of stodge!
In the 70's as a kid a fray bentos was a real treat. Tried one about 5 years ago. It was pretty bad. Best bit is the pastry. Not sure if their quality has gone or food back then was that bad.
Bean eating the budget ones for a few years now they are OK that's about it I buy the budget potatoes in a tin and the cornbeef they sell it makes a quick cheapish meal.
Beans means heinz
DUH ! Am I missing something with regards to the price? The "breakfast" @ £3.95 + "black pudding" @ .75p + "mushrooms" @ .75p TOTAL = £5.45 ! You said the total was £5.25 ? (Was it a slip of the tongue and you meant to say £5.45?) PLUS the "tea" @ £1.25 = £6.70 - I just can't get the sums to add up... Can you clarify, thanks. 🤔
Thanks for the question. You got me thinking. I do know, I paid £5.25, I've looked at the bank account. But where the anomaly is I don't know. Perhaps the family card is a better discount? Still, keep viewing. Thanks, I'm trying to improve.
@@WrigglyBottom If you have a Family Card and you went in on a weekday, the tea/coffee are FREE, but even then the figures don't add--up? Unless it had something to do with you NOT having been given the toast and tomato you mentioned, perhaps?
I have reviewed the video and towards the end, I am listing the items on the receipt. You will see that the basic breakfast was £3.75. An extra 75p for black pudding and extra 75p for mushrooms. Plus £1.25 for tea. With the discount of £1.25 on the Family card, Then I paid £5.25. Thanks for your concern, I hope this clears up your consternation.. Best wishes and keep watching. I hope to improve with each one.
@@WrigglyBottom The basic breakfast with bacon / sausage is £3.95 (not £3.75!) - In fact you can see it on Price List on the vid at about 2.04 mark...
You are correct. The sign does say £3.95. However. I cannot help what I was charged. The receipt that I read out as i am walking through the store tells the story. Thanks again for watching and please like and subscribe.
Im glad to see they might have improved the quality since I went there maybe 10 years back. Their egg was just a white disk, was like eating rubber and had no taste. It was cheap but absolutely dreadful and not even worth the low price they sold it at.
Thanks for viewing. Yes, the breakfast wasn't all that bad. Especially for the price.
Wouldn't want to eat their food. Their furniture's bad enough. You're a brave man !!
I do what I can to sacrifice my tastebuds for you.
Love it.
Thanks for the Love
Another good one
What a lovely video and Toby Carvery looks edible
Thanks for this nice comment. Trying to get a good video is difficult
