@@jnjokes9177 yeah, I'm not that impressive though. I rage quit it once and didn't save. Also came back to it after moving on to Farewell multiple times. So the time is wayyyy more than it says on the counter, haha.

@@beta4625 I would have to say it is the hardest room in the game. I'm getting close at beating 8 C-Side and it's way easier. After that, just Farewell last screen!

@@wsacha4155 I took a break from the game for months because I couldn't beat this last room of 7C or the last room of Farewell. 😆 So glad I came back to it and accomplished this. Working on 8C second room now. Hoping that I can keep the motivation up to finally finish this game!

@@iridescentaura4 is this build only for parsing ? Do you actually get 130k in the vet dungeon or vet trial ? I was kicked from the vet trial last time for not dishing out enough damage. It was so embarrassing 🫤

@@Sourav1408 a parse represents ideal situation of buffs and debuffs provided in a trial group. That said, the ideal rarely happens, so no, no one will hit as high as their parse in real content. What a parse does do is show that you are comfortable and knowledgeable about doing damage with that character/setup. Typically, I change out one skill for either Vigor or a Shield in content too. I have been there too. Years ago, I thought I was doing good DPS, but someone said I was terrible in a dungeon. I know now that the problem was that I didn't know how to light attack weave or do a rotation. To learn light attack weaving and rotations, and therefore getting higher DPS, you practice parsing. Hahaha, thanks! I had a lot of fun in this room. Starting to like those corner boosts... Farewell has really been quite the challenge so far. I'm on the Determination checkpoint. After this, I need to finish chapter 7 and 8 C-Sides. Have you done all the B-sides and C-sides? They are certainly a trip too!

@iridescentaura4 I haven't tried the B or C sides yet. I thought I'd give Farewell a shot first. To be honest I haven't even looked up how to unlock the C sides yet. I'm really enjoying having more to look forward to. I'm not ready to be finished with this gem of a game yet.

@@robpatershuk Ahhh, yes, you are like me and decided to go for Farewell before B-sides and C-sides. I would suggest doing B-sides first at least because they help you learn harder techniques needed for Farewell. I died so many times on the first 2 parts of Farewell because I didn't know how those techniques worked, hahaha. I'm also so glad that I've gotten so much playtime out of this game too. It's one of my favorites now.

This room was definitely a challenge. However, my worst room so far is chapter 7 C-Side, last room. I got stuck on it, so I went on to where I stopped in Farewell, haha. Still haven't used assist mode, but we will see if that lasts!

@@iridescentaura4 7C definitely took me a few hundred attempts. Best of luck on that and finishing farewell!

Slot a heal, with the incoming change to arctic blast i suggest swapping elemental susceptibility for enchanted growth. It can save your run

It shouldn't be that big of a difference- maybe 1-2k dps loss. That goes for any perfected vs non perfected gear.

​@@iridescentaura4i get 132k with perfected, 127 to 128 without, not big enough to disqualify the build from top end content, but big enough that running vDSA a few times for the ice staff is worth it

@@iridescentaura4 dont worry, there are checkpoints in farewell. If you ever feel like you aren't ready for something, or haven't been taught something, just return to the b sides.

I've only done the first chapter's 2 b-sides I think, so I could definitely use some more of that experience to help me with Farewell.

Part of me is considering backing out of Chapter 9 and doing the B-sides first (only have done first couple chapters B-sides). But, at the same time, I don't want to lose the progress I've made so far in this crazy level, lol.

@@Thelnir that's what I ended up doing! I got to the heart gate and left Farewell. On Chapter 7 C Side now!

@@Thelnir I am curious if I went back and started from the beginning of Farewell now with my additional experience of B Sides and C Sides now, if it would feel a lot better, or if it would still suck, haha. I also heard the last screen of Farewell was bad from a friend too. He has not done the C Sides yet though and I think he will start them soon, so we will see what he thinks too!

Hahaha, yeah, I was just working on the huge room with the locks and all the jellyfish mechanics. I hate the jellyfish.

I haven't tried it, but I think it would be similar. I'll have to get my magsorc set back up- I've been focused on Stamsorc recently and have neglected the mag build lol

@@SmithicusMedia I don't think it was that bad. I did it across a few days. The one that gave me more trouble was the Scrivener's Hall lead. I went in several times and solo'd it cause it was faster than using dungeon finder lol. My boyfriend farmed it all within 24 hours on his alt toon. 😂

@@iridescentaura4 yeah Scriveners hall does this lead require the larger keys or just regular random small keys?
