My first time visiting Topsail Island. I have never been anywhere quite like this! If you go swim on the beaches here, take precautions as the riptides are unforgiving right now. Do you have to take any precautions with the new capacitor like draining it slowly before working with it?
I always discharge it with a insulated tool, never been hit by one doing it that way
No, even if it somehow was charged the caps discharge over time.
At our shop the way we discharge capacitors is toss them to a coworker. Easy peasy.
@@hank5909 You don't even need an insulated tool. The only discharge path is from herm to common or fan to common. Unless you are in that path then you can't be affected.
@@rvtech101 In the ET shops on navy ships they often will wait for someone to come in the door and toss them a cap before they know what is coming, lol.

Spray some wd40 between the wheels sit on your ass in front and kick the bottom and top of the wheel alternately it comes right off
You can also strip the outside tyre off while it’s still on the vehicle and then use crowbar and hammer between the faces of the wheel 🤣
Put something on the ground under the outside tire and lower it .

Talking shit about the guy trying to help and literally doing all the work. While having no ideas of your own and being helpless. All while the problem was caused by lack of maintenance on your part (if you rotate the tires they never get a chance to rust to the hub). Classy!

Jack up both wheels on the side with the wheel you want to remove. Don't drive the inner wheel up on a block like you did here. The outer wheel will come right off.
