For consumer thought: As someone who's just gotten into the TCG, I can say this is probably one of the best products on the market currently to start playing this game. Aside from the build and battles, this offers the same support or if not more you need to just start playing the game. In comparison to a build and battle, those are just cards from whatever set is printed on the box, where as the trainers tool kit offers essential cards you'll need from the current sets and whatever is currently in rotation. To put it in simpler terms, this saves you some trips ( depending on how popular pokemon is in your area ) and digging through mass loads of bulk at your LGS for hours just to maybe find a small handful of cards you need. It also spares your wallet and time from having to order cards online ( which go can go far beyond the TCG price of one single ) because hey, people need to make money too.
