    Excellent result Rob, I think both images equally nice, although I tend to lean more towards HOO and SHO as well as I like seeing blue in my images.

      @@jesuschrist2284 hello. Yes the difference in read noise is negligible with the modern cmos sensor. I find it saves on the power consumption to. It was also rather warm when i imaged plus 25 degrees so i didnt want to do the minus 5 or 10. Thanks for watching. Clear skies

      @@sevenskiesastro yeah i was concerned trying to run mine at -10 but i think there is a big difference in thermal noise between 0 and -5. I paid for cooling and damit im gonna use it :) Until i get frosting issues ;(

    Nice processing run through. Wasn't aware of the banding removal tool so something I will tuck away in my memory if required. StarX unfortunately often removes nebulosity, particularly thin wispy stuff Russell is apparently working on a fix as we speak. Nice final image. CS

    Wonderful image Rob! Enjoyed your workflow and processing of this image. As you mentioned you need more integration time , which is hard to achieve with the British weather. You managed to get lots of nice colour and detail, the stars are nice and round. Myself not been on Pixinsight for months and out of practice. Thank you for sharing this video my dear friend.

    Great variation of Focal length pictures there Rob, there all good, I'm going to go wide field, ie samyang 135mm f2 with the 533, to get some of the wider targets.

    Beautiful image Rob!! I haven't shot this nebula (probably won't, as its too faint for my setup to cope up). But I had Success shooting the Lagoon Nebula in great detail! Your shot looks great! (I need to try that nebula in future)

    I really like the final result. I believe, what you should do is to use a smaller sensor, OR, the simplest solution: at the end, crop the final image just to the point at which no coma is visible. I think, the coma corrector is for f/4 scopes, but seems to work well with f/2. So, as you have succeded on collimation, just crop the parts from where the coma starts to become visible, and outwards. Cheers from Greece.

      Thanks for watching. A smaller sensor like the 585 would help for sure. The new blur exterminator for pixinsight works fantastic with it now and corrects to the corners on a 533 sensor. Thanks again and clear skies.

    Hi Rob, my name is Jaime and I have been following a modification like this since Astrosuhaib made a video about this topic. Your images are very nice and sharp. I think I will give it a try, I have a C11, not Edge, also I have a Skywatcher quattro which it came with coma corrector. I will carefully take the measurements , then need to figure it out how to make your version of adapter to mounting the coma corrector in front of the telescope.     Nice widefield setup Rob you got some cracking images with that, the Aurora was amazing we're still buzzing about it now although galaxy season for me has been pretty much a washout sadly. clear skies!!

    Lovely widefield rig you have there Rob, and great images as well. I'm looking forward to comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS, if it survives perihelion it could be one of the best in recent times. I'm old enough to remember Hale-Bopp and hope to see another comet like it before I pop my cloggs (this one won't match Hale-Bopp but should still be good). As for the aurora, we had a spectacular display up here in Scotland, I too regret not taking a time lapse of it. I did take quite a few pictures but was too busy watching the show to think about taking a time lapse.

      Thanks Pete. I remember Hale-Bopp well. Also remember Hally. Tho was a little disappointed with that one. I have high hopes but many have promised but sadly broke up or just not shone. This is a pristine one so its anyones guess i suppose. Loved the Aurora so much tho you may have more chance in the future in bonny Scotland. Thanks for watching mate and clear skies.

    Nice portable widefield setup there Rob. Looking forward to seeing more captures from this rig. I think you are very right that the recent aurora activity has made a dent in the tourist trade to far north countries. Clear skies.
