Hidden Creek Fishing in Yuma
มุมมอง 3.1K4 ปีที่แล้ว
Fishing a hidden creek just outside of Yuma, Az. I've pulled Bass, Blue Gill, Tilapia, Red Ear Sunfish, Channel Cats, and Flatheads out of here.
Going north on the 95 take a left at the north side of the mohawk welton canal and drive east and this spot will be on the left of the Canal, its not a creek. its part of the canal and the gila.
Jimmy Did you speed this video up? If not, you need to slow down, dive a little deeper to the sand and wait calmly. They’ll come to you if you’re patient, if they’re there. Of course, I haven’t dove there in about thirty years… so what do l know. Outside jetty at Oside is another good spot when it’s right. Don’t let the a-holes discourage you even if they’re right. Good video, brother. Brings back memories.
I have been collecting these IBC containers for my vegetable garden, but because I'm unsure of what the plastic liners contained I discarded them. Instead, my plan is to line the inside with wire mesh and plastic sheeting or cardboard, then fill the bottom half with logs and tree trimmings and the top half with potting soil and compost. A 4 ft. high bed that requires no kneeling actually would work better for me. Have you tried using the containers that way? All that's really needed for a raised bed is the metal frame. You could line the sides with almost anything.
I’m in Yuma, can you tell where is this please?
Just south of Adair range on 95

Um,not hidden, but great place for bait fish-- good bass across the way
This is the most boring video I’ve ever watched
Had to laugh seconds in seeing the "hidden creek" was neither hidden as it is obvious to anyone who fishes the yuma area where this is and it by definition is not a creek it's simply man made control of canal seepage, spillway and underpass of the upland wash at the Gila Gravity Canal lol. Well clickbaited me for sure hell anyone who fishes around here would like to know of a "hidden creek". Hey do a video of the great bass fishing in the "Great Yuma Valley River" aka YV Main Drain lol, jackass.
Where is location
Right on bro my aunt and uncle just moved to Yuma so I’m trying to do some research so when I visit I’d like to know some spots I love to target flatheads but any species on general any good spots or tips and a new sub here bro maybe we can link up when I go out there do a collab video
Southern Fisherman most definitely! Thanks for the Sub!

Thanks for the video! I fish the jetties in San Diego and have always wondered what it looks like down under the water!
Actually a cool video. If you’re not a fisherman, you won’t get it. It’s not called spearcatching, it’s called spearfishing. It’s not easy. It’s not like a video with catches cut together one after the other out there, no matter what kind of fishing it is. This is the real experience, not glamorous, but it is fun. I’m going to guess this isn’t the most experienced diver, I’m not either, the only legal fish I could clearly see were the few opal eye, they’re small and fast but really good eating. Not easy to spear by any means. It’s also just fun to see all that stuff, cool lobster sighting.
Thats were i catch my cat fish bait !
Gila river or what exactly boss
daniel rendon it’s where the runoff from the canal runs down to the river

Nothing to see here folks, keep moving
Seems to be a whole lotta nothing in your video
I would be scared of getting snagged by a fisherman there
Is that mission beach
We’re is that place at
Nate gaming 408 fortnite mission bay jetty. I spear fish there. I’ve seen a barracuda, sculpin and octopus. Pretty new to spearfishing but cool place. You have to go farther from the rocks for any action.
