How ridiculous do you guys think this sounds. I was told by my boss's lower-ranking colleague that we can only talk about work and school (we're a university's catering company). She's a priss. She was once embarrassed when I said "Hey, what's up?" to a man who called me to his table. I saw her put her hand on her face in shame (when the guests weren't looking). Later, she approached me and said, "John, we do not say 'Hey, what's up?' to the guests. We say 'hello. How are you today?' We are an etiquette, civilized, catering business. Not a laidback group of skateboarders." (Although, I wouldn't say skateboarders are laidback, since they gotta take safety seriously when doing their moves.)

I Used Lived In Gilles Plains used to go the Barnacle Bill and That IGA Holden Hill in Modbury and it’s on the Corner of North East Road and Grand Junction Road what a Road and Those Great Big Pot Holes and Dip Holes at The Top of Grand Junction Road in Hope Valley in the Morning used to Drive up that everyday and yeah I Still drive it !!!!

I've just come across this video. I'm not an AFL supporter as I'm from Sydney but this is really powerful. I loved the line 'As if money could buy courage and pride'. The same goes for old the old Balmain Tigers, North Sydney Bears and Newtown Bluebags up here. They were clubs with countless beating hearts. What is left are just franchise based sporting teams with jersey's covered in commercial advertising. They tossed these old clubs away. They didnt care about the many beating hearts here too. Great song... The slum part near the coast... I lived just off Grand junction rd at Hope Valley and worked in a shop on Grand junction rd. back in the 70-80s.. Then I saw the light and moved interstate ..

Brilliant. The black and white footage gives it a beautiful ‘vintage’ feel. What a frank and honest portrayal of Grand Junction Road. It is not a put down, far from it, this video is likely to make Grand Junction Road a tourist hotspot to rival The French Quarter in New Orleans. Ah, the beauty of decay and neglect. Melbourne may have its graffiti covered alley ways in its CBD but Adelaide has got its Grand Junction Road. Why bother going to the UK and visiting remnants of the Industrial Revolution in Manchester and Liverpool when there is a more contemporary example right here on our doorstep. Hindley Street has a life size sculpture of Roy 'Mo' Rene. In the not so distant future in front of that very sandwich bar where Mr Morrison performed the iconic song “Grand Junction Road” there will be a life size galvanised steel sculpture of this famous singer songwriter.

I grew up at the end of this road many years ago - great video and tune. But it's such a shame theres reference to drugs - Sign of the times hey? I came back from the UK in 2016 to find our local chippy is now a porn shop! 🙈 Still,. I have millions of great memories 💟 ☀️ Looking forward to my next trip - Thankyou X
