What a gorgeous bike. Sounds great. Would love to have one.
I bought this bike 3 years ago. Put 4000 miles on it. It still runs great. Gentleman driving built it. I put an original seat and handle bars. It’s great for power wheelies. I am building a second one now.
Beautiful
Sears was phasing them out and they had them on sale $175 dollars. So I bought one. My first motor vehicle. A great around town bike, but could beat you to death on a long trip. The list price on them was from 4 to 5 hundred dollars. I see they are going for several thousands now.
No talk, all Triumph! Perfect!
Excellent Smooth sound Sir
Tengo problemas con el arrancador como podría solucionarlo por favor Una consulta yo tengo una moto antigua marca Suzuki modelo T-10 bicilíndrica de dos tiempos justo el modelo del vídeo
Can I ask for the reliability for this bike? as well as how good is it as a daily driver
I have one of these, get rid of that hideous seat!
That is one SWEET sounding motor! NICE!
😮😮😮
I know rite, people ask will that tie down hold?
Be careful old timer
Awesome
What’s the jet settings? Thinking about putting those pipes on my RD
Start big and work your way down, if you're premixing, do 32:1. Don't use ethanol fuel. Don't forget to adjust your needle position if needed. Carb tuning is not something you can just look up for an exact answer, you have to do it yourself in the end. Every bike is different, especially when it's not stock, and it depends on what elevation you're at too.
@@2stroke438 thanks a lot for that info 👍
what exhaust is on this CL450?
Fantastic ride.... it climbed well for a 250... never gave up
This is awesome lol. I have a 1970 SL 100 I love it.
Traded my buddy a 300 horse 350 out of a 69 Chevy for a 71 sl350. Looking forward to restoring her.
Thanks for the video. Mine is getting worked on in a few weeks. Hope the problem is resolved and I can begin riding. Love the vintage and air cooled mid displacement.
What model SuperTrapp pipe is that? Sounds great on there.
Awesome 👌
Got a rust free one. Waiting for restoration or at least put back on the road.
Where can i grt those handlebars
They are Clubman cafe bars, Ebay, maybe Amazon
People that need power windows are old…… you’re gunna fuck those rubbers but real quick
Awesome
I rode a '48 Indian Chief, buddy had a twingle. Loved twingle's styling.
Yes, I feel the same. Nice bikes but they have lost the charm.
Did a 250 twingle out perform a typical 250 single 2-stroke ? How about longevity?
They were built for really good fuel mileage, good torque down low but not much power up in the higher rims. Not as much power as a modern (70s) 2-stroke.
Thats one hot blinker..it does need some cooling fluid for sure❤😂

sweet ride!
Nice restoration, I owned a 72 CB 450 back around 1980 so I remember that sound well including the horn. Thanks.
Currently tuning my rd, do you remember your carb settings?
Who won ?
Music, sweet music. Sounds like the jetting is spot on. What are you running for mains
Mufflers are cool...
Real men only need 4 inches. Brappp.
the must !
Sounds exactly like my CL350
I like
I just picked up a 360 Mojave . What kind of wheels did you go with?
Top Sound
just picked up a set for my 1971 R5. cannot wait to put them on and try them out.
The best handling and riding bike that I've ever been on in my 67 years of life! I had a 72 in the late 70's and loved every minute of riding it!
Yes, a very good all around bike. I've had it on some nasty rocky/muddy/uphill trails with no problems.
@@douglasmason6112 You're making me want one again!
Good ol honda that’s a new one guess the sealed beam no longer seals 😂 sucks bro hop it dried out enough to get home I have 71 cl450 absolutely love it
I need to get out to the shed and get my ‘67 done !
A unit construction pre-oil-in-frame 650 Triumph is a great usable classic to own with plenty of performance and spares back-up. Single carb models a better choice I reckon.
Yes, I had a '69 TR6 for years, a better bike for around town use & less fussy. But for fast back roads the Bonnie shines.
Had one of those xs1 1970 in New Zealand. Better sound than the Bonnie. Would love another.
Yes, I also have a 70 Bonneville that is a sweet ride, but the Yammie is the "refined & reliable" version of that bike.
looks like fun. does it vibrate much
