Idk quick resume is nice if I wanna hop between cfb 25 and play red dead I can load in immediately that’s the biggest draw for me but if you like single player exclusives get ps5
I had a PS1 ,PS2 ,PS4 ,then I got an XBOX series S as I wanted a console for GTA6 as it was at a great price point, the XBOX series S is nice upgrade from the PS4 , and game pass was cheaper than play station plus until half way thru this year then Game Pass did the bait and switch and more than doubled the price of Game Pass, then I said I should have stuck with playstation as they also after a yearly subscription model which brings the cost down , anyways I decided due to Microsoft's greedy game pass increase I switched back to play station plus and bit the bullet and got the PS5 , I was considering the XBOX SERIES X until that game pass price increase. I still have the Xbox series S as a secondary console but play station is for my choice now , pity I wasted so much money trying to save money lol , lesson learnt, but that being said I do understand that Sony could double the price of playstation plus as well. I do love the PS5 controller vs the XBox series S controller. Don't get me wrong the Xbox series S graphics are very nice and the console is silent you don't even know it is on.

It’s Xbox. The ps5 doesn’t need to exist. I download Sony games on pc for free. Xbox gives me cross-platform progression so I can start on pc and pick up where I left off on console or vice versa. All you need is a PC, Xbox and Switch and you’re fully covered.
You don't have too choose get them both and keep them both no reason why one should be bettter than the other when they both are good in there own way they both have good game and wouldn't trade either one of them for anything else

the ps5 has a better blu-play discs player for movies and games the xbox has a better streaming video of movie apps

When it comes to console gaming, ps5 is the winner for me. Awesome controller, more and better games, cleaner and more “next-gen” UI imo. Xbox gamepass may be better than ps plus but with ps plus, you can add a game to your library, and you’ll have the game forever even if it leaves the ps plus catalog.

Even tho I sold my other 2 xbox series x consoles I had... id rather play xbox than playstation. Those ps5 controllers get stick drift fast aswell

@@shido-y9y not really if you can play both Xbox and ps5 games, buy both ps5 pro and Xbox series x with 2tb will be 1300 you can get a pc does same. I built my own it’s cheaper to build own. plus console you pay 10 plus tax amonth to play online and pc free and steam is always cheaper and more games.
Gotta mention controller battery life. While you have to buy the rechargeable battery for the XBox controller separately, it lasts MUCH longer than the built in battery on the PS5 controller. I do agree, though, that overall the PS5 DualSense controller is amazing and the best of the two, it's just that the battery life is pretty lame.
I have both and I think PS5 is a far superior machine.. The only real advantages of Xbox is Game Pass.. Other than that it's no contest.. This is why the PS5 sells 4 to 1 to the Xbox.. Shame.. Because last generation it was a lot closer.. Sony have won the generation in my opinion..

You forget about Xbox gimmicks and advantages while playing Playstation games. Gamepass is great but I've been happy enough with PS+. The real plus to Xbox in my opinion is quick resume and PC integration which I rarely use anyway.
Crazy.. I have both and Xbox wins rn with gamepass, quick resume, dolby atmos, backwards compatibility.. too good. I do love the PS5 but the PS4 does almost the same thing
Xbox is backwards compatible, internet Explorer, u can emulate older games through dev mode, the controller battery last all day. I can keep going

I think PC is the best. Superior power and frame rate. Minimum 60 FPS in 100% of games. It runs all Series X games, and most Sony exclusives. Games are a lot cheaper on PC than on consoles too, and you have these game bundles where you get up to 98% off. I pay for Game Pass Ultimate on PC of course. RAM and storage space are cheap upgrades on PC too. I had 5.TB of SSD for years, and will upgrade to 8.TB SSD later.

We not talkin about PC here though bro. Don't get me wrong, I have a PC as well, but it doesn't fit what most people want. PCs are for enthusiasts, the ps5 and the series X are excellent for casual gamers, PC does beat consoles in a lot of areas but it also gets whooped in a lot more. Stop bringing PCs into the console argument, it's stupid.

Xbox customer service sucks. You can't never get a hold of nobody
Both Microsoft and Sony customer service sucks. Meanwhile Google, Amazon and more had great and fast support worldwide 24/7. Activision had top support worldwide, but probably not anymore since Microsoft owns them.
I have both. PS5 for exclusives and legacy IPs, and Series X for its exclusives and especially UBI\TC's games, whose older games especially run better on Series X than on PS5 due to FPS Boost. Namely The Division, Watch_Dogs, Watch_Dogs² and probably other titles as well.

I have a ps5, a pc, switch, and xbox one. Im struggling on whether or not upgrading the xbox is worth it. Seems like most of xbox's good games are still in development and won't be out for a good while. I think ps plus is a great deal as well. I miss when online games didn’t require subscriptions though

@@PrimoRocker Skyrim isn’t multiplayer and Elderscrolls 6 is coming out in a few years that will probably be exclusive to Xbox.
I just got an Xbox Series X last Friday delievered to me that I ordered from Walmart had a sale for $449.00 love the console so far also I do have a Playstation 5 as well got the console last year in October 2023 as a early Birthday gift and Christmas gift for myself from Best Buy both consoles look good in person.

@donellweaver5722 yes, most of the time. But lately I've noticed psplus has a few good ones too though. Ghosts of tsushima, God of war, doom eternal, blood borne just to name a few. Also a lot of oldies but goldies too lately. Xbox side of things are looking somewhat better to me as well. Have you tried the new Indiana Jones game yet?
