My Kai Rx-45 came apart and I cannot get it back together. The light purple part that holds the screw will not fit flat into the blade. There is a small square bump on the blade side of this part that will not let the part fit flat into the blade. Am I possibly missing a part.

FWIW, I ordered a pair of these as a present and I tried them out before I wrapped them. I have never experienced scissors that cut like this. They glide through paper perfectly without any need to close the scissors. They are the most comfortable scissors I've ever used. The scissors are drop dead beautiful which was something I liked. I found out about the scissors on a Project Farm video. These were the highest rated in every category by a significant margin. One thing that concerned me was how well they would do at cutting cloth. I noticed a few comments on the Project Farm video to the effect that scissors optimized to cut cloth were different than general purpose scissors like these. On that issue I saw a video on a sewing channel where the host compared them to a high end sewing scissor brand and she said that she liked these better. They are on the pricey side. I bought the 7250 model.

I love my Kai Scissors and highly recommend them and spread the word whenever there's a sale or if someone in one of my groups mentions which scissors to buy. I love how sharp they are and stay and how they're the perfect weight and price. I have other nice scissor brands but they just don't do the job for applique and in the hoop work.

Leather place mats??? A) You killed an animal for nothing B) How on Earth do you wipe down a leather weaved mat without getting rotting food all inside the layers. Just wash it and see how super easy it falls apart.
