@yosudasportsbike3922 Yikes! So they should be flat circle washers? I installed them anyway. Not sure what the effect will be, yet. I just got my exercise bike from Amazon last week. I found the newer YT video showing assembly of my model. It showed flat washers too. 😔

Yes, for safety reasons it is best to operate with the power off; engineers do this with the power on to demonstrate the effect of the adjustment. If you don't have any repair experience, we suggest to turn off the power to operate, but it will be a little more time-consuming. If turning off the power to adjust the running belt has no effect, you can try to turn on the power to adjust the running belt to ensure safety.

Good question, this is a misunderstanding of the different angles of view, please take the pedal plate as it is placed on the machine, and then you look at it from the same Angle （tightening the pedal） and you will see that it will look the same as the video. Hope this will help.

@@yosudasportsbike3922 this is not true on the first take it goes out from the frame to the side on the second take while being tighten its on frame. So how it should be attached instruction either does not show it.
