Nice video bruh!! Thanks for the review!! 👍🏻 Good information. Am thinking of getting a 525 124 ZVMXG v3 for my BMW F 850 GSA. The tradeoff is... I'll have to remove 2 links as F 850 2023 model has 122 links. Does it degrade the chains performance, wear and tear or weakens the links in any way?? 🤔
@epic.roadventures not at all. Take a grinder. Grind off the pins, punch them out. Then you have a shorter chain. Been doing it for years. Works like a charm. Just make sure you count the links twice.

Hi men, I have same exact bike. I removed pair system like how you did but i got check engine light on. Did you plug any elemenator to pair system plug ? How did you remove check engine ligth ? Hope you still remember.

Hi, what is the difference between the VX3 and this ZVM-X? Given the same proper maintenance & use, will the ZVM-X last longer?
Yes. The ZVMs are designed for highend racing and adventure bikes, typically 800 CC and above. Superior strength and long lasting.
Just got mine couple months ago! Did so many mods on it already! I was going to go with the same color as yours but i like the black one more.
Man just bought this bike with 1700 miles on it for 13k. I wanted abs and it didn’t have it.
Super fantastic welder, your not going to be able to build sky scrapers with it but it will serve you well if you trat it well. Use it with a 30 amp breaker to obtain max power from it. I have for 2 years and no problems with the current draw.

Hey man have a dumb question, do you need to empty the tank before disconnecting those quick connect? I have a 2017 and waiting for my ecu and EU stacks atm. Was trying not to take the tank off completely nor emptying when installing the stacks and taking off intake restrictions.
hey bud, no need to empty the tank. the high pressure line that comes out is restricted until the fuel pump is activated. super easy to take off. cover your plastics with rags just in case of any spillage.

The sp model does. Not the abs or standard model.

Can you still wheelie the 2018 with tork controll/ wheelie control? Am looking at buying this bike but I heard it won’t let you wheelie it because of that reason it just wants to put the front wheel back to the floor?
You can turn the setting off or to the minimal. Trust me you can wheelie this thing all day. I picked it up in 3rd even with no problems.

Hey man, I’d like to do the same to my 2019 cbr 1000.. The only thing I’m familiar with, is the Moto gp akropovic slip on.. Can you please share, what’s your exhaust pair device is? ECU flash? Front and rear sprocket? I appreciate you , sharing your content with us
Pair device caps I bought from motosport. Nothing too fancy there. Ecu flash from Danos Performance in california. Front and rear sprocket are driven and afam. Both killer companies for long lasting quality sprockets.

No, gold has a titanium coating ( if I'm not wrong - it's titanium dioxide coating) which makes it MUCH MORE resistant to rust. Zvm-x is a great chain. Used it around 40 K kilometers on my ktn 990 adventure, by the way I ride rough, I did not even needed to adjust the tension for first 20-25.000 kms. And there is still no rust, bought a new set today. Time to change after 40k.

How would you rate them? I had my Ecu flash by Toce Performance before on my 600rr but wanted to try someone new for my 1000rr. Also what’s your view on bmc/sprinter/k&n race air filters? Oh by the way thanks for the video it helped me a lot
@@sulaymandawud3593 I thought Dano was professional and had a quick turn around. I got everything I wanted and had no issues. I find the aftermarket air filters didn't perform on the dyno any better than the stock air filter.

Good video. You can take out those (2) rubber glued on air duct restrictors for better performance as well.
Yeah, only American bikes got them, in the UK there no restrictions.
Did dyno with 520 and 530. Couldn tell the the difference in horsepower
I would think the #520 offers quick pick up speed/torque so really doesn't factor with dyno as far as top h.p. #'s.
Here is what I picked up from the 1000RR Enthusiasts Forum. P = Power Number 1 the most power on throttle and 5 the less power. T = Traction control (intervention) Number 1 means less intervention and 9 the most intrusive. E = Engine Braking Number 1 means less engine braking when you back off the throttle and 3 is more engine brake off throttle. Soo mode 1,2 and 3 are factory set and User 1 and 2 you can customize P, T and E at you choice.
Nevermind...I found the owners manual and the video is correct. EB 3 is the least amount of Braking and EB 1 is the most EB.
In the video, he says, the engine brake on 1 is the highest and 3 being the lowest. Do you get more engine braking on 1 or 3?

There kind of is. You have a distance indicator for how much fuel you have. Honestly prefer it over a standard Guage.

What's the torque management intervention like for wheelie-ing. Are there levels that let the wheel come up at all? Or limit how high it goes? Or is it more like it needs to be completely off to wheelie at all
Best to wheelie with full power mode and torque limiter/traction control off. Comes up in 1 2 and 3
What’s your IG. I have some specific questions. I want to know what the different levels feels like and what kinda wheelies you can do at each level. I’m getting better at wheelies on my CBR650r, but got a fireblade this winter and don’t want to loop it when spring comes

Just got my 2017 cbr100rr and love mine also but mine is slammed stretched and loud with the 2 Brothers pipe!!!! Love the quickshift feature also never ever rode a bike you don't use a clutch to shift I mean your floating gears kinda like we do in our big trucks!!!!! BAHAHAHA

A 150$ chain only lasts 15.000 miles? Dang... The ones I've bought I've used them for like that long, but they cost about 60$
Depends on how you ride and if your chain is actually still good to ride on. Even if you have them than long it certainly doesn't mean your chain was adequate to ride with. Lots of people ride with a chain long past when they should.
I have a 07 honda vfr800, I need a chain and sprocket set. I know it requires 530 and 110 links. I want the best chain and sprockets set that I can get. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Did chain and Afam sprockets if you can find them
If not driven is a good brand for sprockets too

Thanks for making this video. I noticed you didn't add a servo buddy and you didn't encounter check engine light? Was it because of the ECU flash? Did you encounter any check engine light with the pair valve disconnected like that?
Hey, no servo buddy needed with the ecu flash, same goes for the pair mod. I accounted for everything I wanted to mod before requested what I needed on the flash. Danos can you hook you up with a great flash.

I had Danos Performance do it for me in California. They are damn good.

I use spray on motul. Seems to stick the best and last the longest.
Bought a new air filter for mine since I hit 12k miles. Do you think I can just pivot the tank back to get at it ? I don’t like to go deeper then I have to. I should also remove those rubber block offs in the air ducts
Ya, definitely. It may be a little tight but it's made to pivot to service the area.
