This museum is absolutely amazing! What a find ..I will be returning. The volunteers make the visit even more special.
Intake hole should be way smaller and a round hole
Also blow the torch directly into the intake to assist with airflow
I dont know if you mean youre welding for the first time in a while, or ever. If you've never welded before i'd recommend learning to weld via SMAW or Stick/arc welding. Because just like learning to drive a manual with clutch and all, you learn a lot more about whats going on and in my opinion its such a pain that mig and tig are a dream to use.

They were very successful in making tractors but they got bought over by new Holland and now you don’t see them anymore

The oiler, where the drops floated up… I’m intrigued. Good show.
Yeah, I wanted to record more of that but had forgotten at the time.
I'm baffled by how they work and can't find any documentation on the internet. Maby they're water or glycerin filled so the oil floats upwards? If anyone knows more about these please enlightening me.
After some research I've found that it's a single-drip oiler invented by Albert Lefebvre Fils, from France. I've only found a few images and almost no information but if you google "veteran oiler" then you'll see about 5 images of them(the most ive found in one place). They're not made anymore I think, but they used to be installed in old cars either on the dash or bulkhead and also used in oil engines.
