TASMANIA VLOG | HIKES, BEACH, FISHING AND THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FREE CAMPS!
มุมมอง 715ปีที่แล้ว
The first leg of our Aus trip! In this video we share some snippets of Tassie (we definitely missed A LOT due to the fact that we honestly forgot to get the camera out most days due to just wanting to take everything in!). Honestly if Tasmania isn't on your list then definitely put it on! It is absolutely beautiful. Would definitely recommend about 6 weeks if you want to cover a lot of ground. ...
TROOPY BUILD PART 2 | DRAWERS, BENCH, FLOORING, AWNING AND MORE!
มุมมอง 6Kปีที่แล้ว
The long wait for our part 2 Troopy build is finally over! We have officially left for our lap of Aus and finally had the chance to sit down (as well as service) to get this video finished and uploaded. In this video we go through majority of the rest of the build from the drawers, awnings, roof rack and solar, cushions, flooring and more. Our 'winging it' attitude paid off and we are so so sto...
TROOPY BUILD PART 1 | INTERIOR DESIGN AND LAYOUT
มุมมอง 4.6K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Hey legends! Here is the first part of our interior troopy build. It's been a slow process whilst still both working fulltime but we are on the home stretch to heading off on our lap (3 months), so we definitely need to get a wriggle on. In this part 1 we go through the design layout, the rough plan, materials used and just us winging this whole thing. Stay tuned for part 2 which will include a...
Mount Hotham Snow Trip- Snowboarding, Camping, Good Times and Great Food.
มุมมอง 8502 ปีที่แล้ว
Welcome to our first travel vlog. This trip was a jam packed few days of snowboarding at the beautiful Mt Hotham. A massive 8hour trip in the troop thankfully successful after loads of car dramas over the past few months. We spent a night at Smoko camp ground and then stayed a Harrietville Hotel Motel. The food and stay was amazing, plus a great spot if you aren't wanting to spend heaps of $$ t...

    Hey guys… mad setup! Currently mid way through doing our troopy and was just wondering how the cruiser company gullwing goes? I want to do the same window, just don’t get why they’re so much cheaper then the other ones on the market. Cheers!

      Hey! Thanks heaps! We think it’s awesome! Haven’t had any dramas with it at all. I think some people have had water issues, we just made sure ours was sealed really well. But all in all it’s sick!

      High Country Fabrication! They have actually recently redesigned the product so they look sick & they are better than ours 😂

    Why every off roader, campers etc. In Australia mounted their tall and fat GME antenna on the front Bull-bar right into driver sight? It must be annoying and will cause eye fatigue after driving for several hours. Some even mounted desert flags in front, which cease to flex around. Isn't there a better solution, like smaller antenna which can be mounted elsewhere, but not in the front bull-bar? No offense mate. I'm sharing my humble opinion, cuz we mounted our antenna on the side panel, some mounted in the rear etc. and never had a problem.

    • @adventuringaus
      @adventuringaus ปีที่แล้ว

      Ours was already mounted on the car when we bought it. But I guess because our driver seat is on the right side we don’t notice the antenna much with it being on the left side. But yeah we haven’t actually looked into any other places to put it because it doesn’t bother us hahaha

    • @laloolhouvum1634
      @laloolhouvum1634 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@adventuringaus Aussies is a right hand drive country, like ours. It may not be directly mounted on the driver line of sight, so you won't notice much, however after driving without a stop for several hours, you'll begin to notice and eye fatigue will set in quickly.

    Can I ask how much it all cost total? I’m looking at doing a troopy build myself.

    • @adventuringaus
      @adventuringaus ปีที่แล้ว

      A lot 😂 roof conversion was $14,700 and our electrical was $3,500 They were our biggest costs Our suspension and a lot of exterior things (roof rack, bull bar, awning) were already on the car when we bought it! But we probably put about 35K into it- that’s all materials and items like fridge, tanks, taps, fan etc
