3 guys doing things perfectly. Student remaining calm, maintaining his body position and trusting his instructors while earth is approaching fast. Instructor Grabbing bridle to prevent deployment with the other instructor attached Other instructor wasted no time in "saving his gear". Quick check if he could fix it and decisive remedy by jettisoning the helmet without sacrificing altitude.

I would pay to watch the footage from the second camera!

Wow, I can't believe the student was aware of what was going wrong and that he could get the bridle off. if that helmet stayed on, who knows if it would have created a line twist.

Reminds me of the time I was jumping and my friends parachute got wrapped around my Johnson and almost ripped it clean off.

If it wasn’t for the second guy holding the teal there preventing it from coming out while it was still stuck on the camera, it wouldn’t have ended pretty. Thank goodness for that second guy.

That looked totally avoidable. How was it allowed to happen? When I learnt scuba diving the instructors prohibited any GoPros because they were a distraction and quite simply, not necessary. Is everyone so keen to create video they forget what they’re really doing?
