Mods are great and all that, but you know what could be better? If hasbro bring back all those they laid off from larion (the og who worked on Bg franchise) and make more content or dlc for bg3. Like why cant we get unique companion dialogue , Yanno we have that [paladin] bla bla bla bit no [shadowheart] bla bla bla Oh well, we win some we loose some i guess...

I play PlayStation... This was expected. In all honesty, if I find a mod that turns nude jiggle physics up to 11 then I'll die laughing and be happy. If I find mods that let us import/create popular magic items or homebrew items, then I'll be happy. Long story short: live with what you can get, and stop complaining... 😊

Not entirely sure what it is you’re complaining about exactly because changing cutscenes is a given. I don’t think I’ve ever modded a game to change cutscenes. However, if we’re talking about the lack of custom campaigns then yeah, the limitations are bullshit

I have always beat scorpion lord before duskveil so i never knew this...but if you do this do you still get the items SL drops from beating him? if not, i don't suggest doing it hahaha

This was before the Mod Unlock Tool that Larian clearly made easy to access going against Wizards. It's easy to be mad at this short, but I feel like opinions like these are common in the community and are a small part of the reason why i'm sure they made it easy for modders to break their tools open so we could infact do everything I mention wanting to do in this short. Shoutout to Larian for making me eat this crow that i'll gladly eat as I prep my Curse of Strahd campaign lol

Ok, i admit i got a bit rage baited so here is my tangent. First off: The Cross-Platform limitations highlighted is most likely the console versions. Both Sony and Microsoft despise modding (toolkits included) on their consoles and design their consoles to be as hard to crack and mod as they can. BUT a mod manager built directly inside that game itself is a loophole because it doesn't change any code on the console outside the game. The full on toolkit though would be a big no-no both due to console hardware/software limitations that you need to optimize=mod. Secondly: The toolkit can and does extend through the entire engine including cinematics you just have to poke around a bit for it. The limitations you're complaining about is that you have to fetch mocap hardware and software in order to recreate the same quality cinematics as in game, which isn't cheap.

Im a noob to mods only had them on Skyrim and fallout 4 console over here. But ain't mods to change the gameplay to make it more fun. And not to change cinematics the devs have changed and added some different cinematics. Im a noob and a simple guy i want to be a god no rest so you can use spells anytime i want to always pass rolls and swoon shadowheart in to bed with one word 😂

Don’t like it, use some other mods And if you are a console player, what did you expect (It’s to be expected, they can’t license everything or make major changes to an already established game, or change the specs and potentially ruin something for multiple players)

L take ngl. Larian doesn’t have just absolute freedom to do as they wish. With the release of the tabletop BG3 maker that WoC are doing is probably the reason that Larian isn’t allowed to just let free rein happen in BG3 because it’ll pull away from what WoC is doing.
