So my dilemma is my 2015 3.8 just spun a rod bearing and I need to rebuild, but can only find bk1 engine parts. Any recommendations?

My 5.4 has 363 000 kms on it runs perfect . 530 semi synthetic . All ford parts n filters are the key to long life . Change oil religiusly every 5000 kms . Or under . I do that and add a cup of atf . Never an issue . Did u ever fins out what exhaust u have i like the sound wanna know

How long did the head gasket last? I'm in the middle of rebuilding a Theta II turbo out of a Sonata and wondering how well the sandpaper method works on cleaning the top of the block and the cylinder head.

I unplugged my airbag sensors from the seat and by the doors and left them unplugged for a while before putting them back. when i put them back the light doesn’t turn off. do i need to get it reset?

quick question did you ever got it dynoed before getting rid of it? was it more torquie and faster overall? im planning on upgrading my pistons to bk2 cuz of the higher compretion ratio should be like 15% more power just by swapping pistons

Do you need to take the power steering bracket off? The place I am getting my head gasket replaced at is trying to tell me that they need to take it off it put it back together. Although they didnt need to take it off to take the head apart.
