PA Long-Term Care Virtual Family Council was created in May 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The council has met weekly to bi-weekly ever since. Our live videos are hosted on Zoom and then uploaded to Facebook and now TH-cam. We have family members, friends, long-term care ombudsman, and residents who attend the virtual family council meetings. It is a safe place to share challenges, inspire change, advocate for a difference, educate and improve quality of care for long-term care residents across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Please do not name specific residents or facilities during correspondence to ensure privacy for our residents. If you need specific assistance send an email including your name and county of the facility to LTC-Ombudsman@pa.gov and information for your local long-term care ombudsman will be provided to assist your specific concern.
