    Benchmade is too proud of themselves. Spyderco too. They way overcharge for average knives and the prices keep going up. Let them sit on the shelf until they get a reality check and bring their prices down. $140 for a Griptilian? Gimme a break! That should be a $50-60 knife! Yeah, I overpaid and now own a few from both companies but not buying anymore.

    You can also tell by the length of screws in the handle. It they stick out, it's fake. They should be flush. It's funny my new Spyderco Stretch XL can be pinched a little on the handle, but then again it weighs just over 2 ounces and it's a beast.

    Note: I've left this exact comment on a couple other Pulsar videos, but I figured it's relevant to post again in other comment sections such as this one. Especially since I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. Apparently, it's scheduled to arrive tomorrow or the day after. I've gotten some pretty overwhelmingly positive responses to this comment in other videos, so I'm looking forward to checking out the knife more than ever! 😃 I just bought this exact config on reddit (Knife Swap)! The design really speaks to me, & I'm extra excited because this will be my first Kunwu. The seller said they installed the heavier tension springs, which I'll likely keep because I like a bit extra tension on my crossbar lock knives. Not a crazy amount, but enough to give a moderate amount of resistance. I like the extra oomph to ensure the lock bar stays in place that much more securely. For example, whenever I get a new or used Benchmade, I immediately swap the Omega springs for aftermarket ones. They're a tiny bit thicker, & the spring tension is perfect for me right out of the bag without me having to adjust it. I'm one of those people who has had Benchmade Omega springs break multiple times (even without excessive fidgeting). And I have never had an aftermarket spring break on me. I would hope I don't have to worry about that with the Pulsar, but if that were to ever happen, I would imagine my aftermarket Omega springs would fit the knife. And if not, I have memory wire to make my own if needed, as I've done in the past. I've definitely heard other people say they thought the strong springs felt much better after they changed to them on the Pulsar. Also, how's the fit on the screws? Any trouble with the pivot backing out on you? I'm just curious to know, because some companies, like Reate, make their screws to such tight tolerances that they never seem to back out or need Loctite. So, I'm wondering where Kunwu falls in that regard. I'm definitely looking forward to this one, big time. Apparently, people are only just beginning to receive their pre-orders, so I imagine we should see more TH-cam reviews coming soon. 😃

    • @Hungrybird474
      @Hungrybird474 ปีที่แล้ว

      I swapped out my bug out springs after they broke days apart too , lol . Aftermarket ones are a little heavier , thicker , better but if they break I m not worried about it . They’re not meant to be flicked over and over and heat up the spring but all mine break in the first flick , you ?

      @@giantfatberg try a new t6 or t7 and push real hard or grind down your old t6 . A new one will grab unless it’s really stripped and run that sucker under hot hot water . He probably knew this but me and I know they’ll probably come apart

      @giantfatberg ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Hungrybird474 well I didn’t have trouble getting most of the t6 screws out. The pivot was t8 and it was difficult to get out. I got it out and the pivot screw was coated with dry flaky residue. When I went to do the two t6 screws on the lock bar slide, I swear the bit just spun in there. I used the bit they provided which likely isn’t of the best quality. I got the knife from Kunwu Kickstarter. Maybe I stripped them but I’m fairly certain I didn’t
