Arduino-Controlled Baofeng UV-5R Fox Hunt Transmitter: Morse Code and Beacon Demo
In this video, I demonstrate an Arduino-powered fox hunt transmitter using the Baofeng UV-5R handheld transceiver. Watch as the circuit keys the radio to transmit my call sign in Morse code, followed by a long beacon tone perfect for fox hunting events.
I'll walk you through the setup, including how the 2N2222 transistor controls the PTT (Push-to-Talk) and how the Arduino generates the Morse code and tones. This project is perfect for ham radio enthusiasts looking to create their own fox hunt beacon.
