This is a great anime. It has a in depth story arc as well as having great action.

To he honest this IS a fair take. The anime was a lot more slowly paced than the movie. I also definitely think we could’ve just gotten a season 3 instead.

It's miku...she made a huge impact on my life...a part of me is with her...like ive devoted and invested my life on her and pray that someday she'll be mine even if it's in the alternate world or we'll meet in the afterlife and now i can't wait to die ngl

I just finished the entire anime in 3 days and now i’m feeling empty, it was great honestly, i’m sad that it was so short, I didn’t even know who I wanted to be chosen by Futaro, they were all a good option for him ngl

Really I think my only issues were that some characters kinda played into their standard character traits a lot, and gauches marie thing was always creepy to me but also follows that point. Charmy talks about food, luck has some generic i wanna fight people dialogue, grey whimpers yk the deal

Black clover is just a painfully average series. Probably 6/10. just really decent. A couple really good fight choreographies/animation episodes, but most of the fights are terrible. Decent but not memorable music. Decent but very very generic plot. Decent villains that aren't too memorable but are pretty cool. Decent cast of characters with decent backstories but nothing close to the level of tearjerking story writing seen in one piece or even naruto backstories. Literally just a decent anime. I will say it excels in its ability to maintain and give screentime to the cast of character that it does have, which is an improvement on that aspect of naruto for example.

i genuinely liked the whole anime, but the ending... i still think miku should've won (nino was also a good option) and i'm salty about her not winning but i can live with futaro choosing yotsuba (even if it's kinda pointless and forced).. it's the ending itself that was ass with a movie that felt like an anime season and a rushed pacing but just as said in the video, just because the ending is ass doesn't mean the show is bad at all, still one of my favourite anime

i was happy for Yotsuba but i wanted Miku to be the one

One of the things I hate about Yotsuba is that he never told futaro that she is the girl he met in kyoto 6 years ago and most of the time I never know what she thinks cause unlike the other quints she has no internal dialogue to let us know how she feel or think at the moment. The ending would have been better if Yotsuba's Character development and romantic tension with futaro is somehow the same with other quints and futaro should have a proper and justifiable reasons why he choose yotsuba. The problem I have with futaro is that he never showed any romantic feelings towards any of the quints not until the series almost ended.

I remembered the part when Ichika convinced futaro that he should choose one of the quints by choosing which drink he would buy and it got me thinking maybe Ichika has a huge impact on making his final decision. What if in that part Ichika has already accepted that futaro would never choose her because she never mentioned what drink she likes?

Best anime, best show, best story, best beginning, best middle, best ending, and I can’t wait for the honeymoon arc!! It’s literally impossible to see every twist and turn that takes place.
