Hey guys, this has been on my old hard drive for almost six months now, so excuse the much less elegant edits and shake cam, lol.
What this means for you: I've since beaten the daylights out of my WRX and the rear wheel studs are holding SIX MONTHS STRONG!
As promised, here's the link to the NASIOC thread that I referenced for this install! Hope this helps some of you guys!

Hey guys. As you know, I’m a big advocate for doing things the right way. Updating your Accessport often is a good way to keep things accurate and safe, especially if you’re using it to data log. Shoutout to Cobb for making a beautiful piece of equipment. Hopefully this helps some of you 💙. IG: @thatwhitebugeye
My Whiteline Rear Control Arms Are Finally Here!
มุมมอง 4.9K5 ปีที่แล้ว
What's going on friends!? It took a few weeks, but they are FINALLY here! It's so nice not having bent/blown bushings and arms in the rear of my wagon. Thanks for checking this install out. You guys are the best :) For some reason, the bent control arm portion was supposed to be slowed down for the meme as I threw it and it wasn't. Just envision that in your head for me :P IG: @thatwhitebugeye
Underglow for My 2003 WRX Wagon!?
มุมมอง 1.3K5 ปีที่แล้ว
What's goin' on guys? Why did I do this? The install was terrible, the parts quality is terrible (what you'd expect for a $25 kit?), but the end result...oh man. I'm in love. Hit that like button for rice madness. IG: ThatWhiteBugeye

Hi, thanks for listening to me ramble on about some aspects of my car for 25 minutes. If you like it, and wanna see more, let me know! Share this video with your friends! Sorry I'm not that familiar with 2003 WRXs... But for the WRX Wagon do they have the STi version or does that only apply to the sedan? I'm currently on the market and I'm trying to look for the STi WRX Wagon but all that's showing is the Sedan

    I just got done reviving my aspen white wrx wagon from the dead. Other than a tune (I am getting that ASAP), its mechanically sound. The clearcoat is shot all around, it needs a new driver side fender and an overall respray. Still looks good from 20 ft away though and that rumble breaks necks everywhere 🤣. I love seeing bugeye wagons, we have to keep them around!

    This is a sick wagon man, when you do the rap on this thing I would highly recommend buying a parts sedan or during the front and rear fenders to do the “oem widebody mod” to your wagon it looks so sick and makes wagons look so much better, fills in the skinny sides of the car so much better.

    Easier or even better way to line up NEW arms so same length as OLD arms is to use the bolt that held them in as a guide and adjust till bolt fits both arms

    Love the build man and the various stickers and memes very sick! I have an 02 wrx sedan named Theresa, I actually road tripped it from Philadelphia to Portland when I moved out to college and I’m thinking about doing a white line essentials bush kit for the front and rear, but I need to invest in a low profile jack and jack stands and Im a broke boy so might have to wait for my tax return for that one.

    • @ThatWhiteBugeye
      @ThatWhiteBugeye 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      DadBod RIP :( BUT that is a very good run mileage wise. Personally I’m liking the idea of the 207. High revving Japanese goodness sounds good to me. My only concern would just be making sure the rest of the drivetrain can keep up with the high revs, so it’s definitely pricier if you’re gonna do it right. It really just depends on how much you wanna throw at it and what’s financially feasible. There’s nothing wrong with a low mileage good compression cheap 205 to get the job done, that’s plug and play.

    Great build. Legitimate question, not trying to be a dick. Why don't you think air suspension is for street cars? I'd argue it's better for street cars because of the quick adjustability, and even though they can make it for racing performance, most pure track cars go with coilovers AFAIK. Im definitely not as knowledgeable about aftermarket mods for turbo Subarus, I've mostly worked on NA Subarus. Rn I own a 2.5TS, that already has an intake, exhaust, and I'm gonna throw a set of delta cams in it when I do the heads and spark plugs. I'd love to STI swap it eventually, but since I'm a 20yr old in college that's a few years off. Also I love the billetworkz shiftknob. I'm rebuilding the interior rn (car got mold over the Oregon Winter) and I just ordered a billetworkz knob. Super excited to get it.

      What was reliability like during your ownership? I’ve always been a fan of Subarus but the spotty reliability has worried me. Of course I’d be very meticulous on maintenance and plan to keep it relatively stock.

    • @stevethomas760
      @stevethomas760 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Ballsack44 For the first 10 years no real issues. As time passed things just started happening so after 17 years it was time to move on. You mentioned two things that I believe are key, maintenance/"relatively" stock. I did a stock remap and that was it. Some spirited driving early on but never hammered. I just respect my cars. Not a fan of tuning one to the absolute edge = big bang theory. Big fan of the WRX wagon. Finding a used one that hasn't been abused is challenging you add one that's cared for properly is damn near impossible. I spent 2K on maintenance on the '05 after I bought it but that's just me. Good luck,

      @@stevethomas760 thanks, I’m going to import one from Japan since it’ll be a lot easier to find a lower mileage one and the importers that I’m doing it with will inspect the car for me and make sure I’m not getting a car that needs alot of work.
