Welcome to the second episode of 'HarperCollins Presents' with author and host Simon Toyne.
Creator of the 'Sanctus' trilogy and the wildly anticipated new novel 'Solomon Creed', Simon exchanges ideas with Mark Billingham who's most famous protagonist detective Tom Thorne has become an immensely popular character within the genre of crime and thriller. An adaptation of Mark's first book in the Thorne series 'Sleepyhead' was produced by Sky 1 with acclaimed actor David Morrissey starring as Tom Thorne.
Tom Rob Smith is the author of four novels including one of the all time great debuts 'Child 44' which was turned into a film starring Tom Hardy.
Tom is also an acclaimed script writer and is the creator of the hit BBC2 drama 'London Spy' starring Ben Whishaw, Jim Broadbent, Charlotte Rampling and Adrian Lester'.
