It depends on where it hits. If it gets the temple it could do some damage if hit hard enough
yeah not sure about concussion but boy they can hurt like hell if you're hit relatively hard at all

Hi there! Thank you for watching! I threw in that last clip because I had a good laugh at it. Dave Fleming is one of the commentators. He often says some pretty hilarious things on the microphone. In that clip, he was referring to the spectator with long hair. Love Dave Fleming, got to meet him in person. He’s a great dude.

I must say I disagree, I think it is a great tactic that people-especially of this level-should be ready for. In addition, if you are ready for it, having the skills to defend against it only makes you a better player. A good strategy that is inventive and gives the enjoyable sport of pickleball more excitement!

If it lands in the kitchen it's fair game. It's quite common to go into the kitchen during dink battles. You just can't volley from the kitchen.
