Did you mention that is a discord channel for Vanished Soul players? Thinking about committing to VS as I play a few TCGs and can only really commit to getting good at one deck in each TCG that doesn't have rotating formats.

I played it years ago before I quit. I was so annoyed with spam summons didn't have metaverse though I'd run demise of the land. It can auto activate when it hits the field on the 3rd summon. White dragon ninja's really good for protecting it. Really nice to see it get some love cause I've never seen anyone play it in my 4000 hours I'd played it was always copy paste meta decks. Idiots would ask why does this exist? But someone who analyzes games knows cards like these were created for a reason. To help counter an imbalance like crying over chthonian polymer when your 1 of wincon quintet magician gets yoinked. It's a rare case, but the best way to win games is to be in control of a situation. If your dictating how a games played it's handicapping the opponent. And yugioh has always been about constantly negating what your opponent can do. It's just way too good at pulling whatever card you need from your deck. Happy to see it's now consistent enough to be a threat.

Currently trying to build VS so this video really helps! What are your thoughts on parallel exceed? Ik one player topped with that card and it seems to help in making your rank 4 plays easier

For the princess u should play amblowhale, or doing raging phoenix line. the decks a lot better as a link deck then xyz cause u can abuse dharc and hiita to link climb. Amblowhale is nice cause in weird scenarios u can revive a rock since u can pop it with razen or snow devil or caesar. or just use it as another inturption. Its worth a shout. i dont think the 4 mat zeus is strong rn cause no deck really dies to it. Also hiita dharc are nice cause u can link off bodies into them and clear the main monster zone for pantera to ss itself. Hence why i think people should start leaning towards more links then xyz. Except bagooska, thats a free win against branded and floo. Princess can also revive dempsey as dempsey is on ss and not xyz summon. And you can climb into princess with charmers. Also maybe test small world as small world is a starter into razen. Even if u do lose 1 card for it borger draw normally replaces it, or getting to razen makes the neg okay. Durendal is nice but there has just been too many times i havent been able to use it due to not having a optimal ns, and then it just feels neg to use it. While small world at least gets me to a playable spot. And also gets me to exact card i need to keep extending or playing through a board.

U unfortunately cant special summon with dark element if u have a piece in gy. It says 'gate guardian' monster. So u gotta have the dark guardian or a fusion monster in gy
