We are a couple of small scale mining junkies based in the Gem state. Mostly we like to get out to the gold fields and have a good time. A little color in the pan always helps. We are a Proline dealer and that helps us to finance our adventures. Our hope is that our content will teach and entertain those who share our love for shinny stuff.
Remember to always be a good steward to the land as we tend to be the ones who spend the most time out in Mother natures glory.

Hello friend, new subscriber. Keep up the hunt for the gold
Nice color!!! Cant wait to get my 4 inch proline out!!
Quick question for you folks I’m thinking about a high banker very similar. What happens if you pull the suction nozzle out of the water does that blow gold out of the box? Is it difficult to get the air out of the lines? Demonstration would be awesome thanks.
@@arlenesauder1913 the prolines will not “blow out” gold by design. Not hard at all to bleed air out takes less that a second. Having said that it’s still not a good idea to lift the nozzle out of the water. If it’s that big of a deal change the nozzle to something called a pressure nozzle. What we are using is called a suction jet, or power jet. Some still call it a jet log. Great question by the way.
Frost in August.... damned global warming 😅

Looks like a good time!!! Heavy Pans!!!
was a great time
Hello, this is my friend, awesome 👍
Crazy that you are finding so much mercury in that stream. Must have been some big mines upstream from there in the past dumping mercury into the ecosystem. You should make sure to bring some clean water if you are spending a few days out there and wash off at night. Don't want to leave that on your skin for days.

Nice video. Too bad you didn't get much work out of your mining partner
Not a bad place to prospect! Do a little more sampling! What about the rock crevices? Any gold in there? Good gold hunting! Take care.
Lots of sampling for sure, defiantly need to bust some of that bedrock
👍
Looking good indeed. Keep on having fun and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠
Nice gold. From here, that crevice looks like cemented river gravel. may pay to bust it all up with a pry bar.
That hopper 3d printed ?
@@thevikingwolfpack836 nope it’s a stock proline hopper.
neat
Great day out there fam. Keep on having fun getting that Au and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠

Open mats = trash, they scour too much and you can lose half of your potential take in an instant. Protect gold with riffles, expanded metal, and moss... or something similar.
Jig too, even more protection via a steel ball bath.
There's always a surface wash/concentration in cobbles, dig to the depth it's at!
Get a Garrett cleanup pan man! My proline field pan is my favorite but I have to switch over when the cons get down there.
If you hate panning, do it fast... but twice. You'll get a sense of what you lost the first round and recover ~96%, all while honing your sense of how fast you can go.
Idaho has some great fine gold. I was employed by two firms to do some geologic exploration and claim staking there for gold a few years ago, it was a dream come true. Hundreds of colors per pan in some good spots, would love to bring my dredge.
I bought one of the 3" combos from Jeff but I always dredge small creeks. How many guys do you think could shovel directly in it on a bench deposit?
In reality shoveling directly prolly 10. We have run the 2 inch shovel direct many times with 4 guys shoveling.
Bid stuff
You need a wooden bucket holder and sprayer dude. The highbanker section of my proline only gets used when the sluice tender is bored.
The mat in my proline 3" never has anything, too turbulent.
That looks so much like what I was into yesterday.
Wow, how many buckets?
That was 22 buckets little over .5 a yard
Idaho, full of volcanics, has natural mercury?! Never, lol.
@@TRyan3 I predict it’s from the old timers in this location. It’s all good I’ll clean it out of the waterway
I used my 3" Proline yesterday in an even smaller creek where I have to recirculate and pull water from downstream for the pump. Even with those measures I had to idle it a few times. Cleaning up now watching this lol.
@@TRyan3 we had a 3 in the water as well. We’ve all been there whatever it takes to get it done
I can't tell you how many small creeks I've stepped across here in Oregon wondering if there's any color in them. I'm too damned old and broken to find out now, but there's no regrets.
@@MaizeANDBlue1957 never too old. Haha thanks for the comment
I have many years of experience. Find the gold first . Then you don’t Dredge all the material. Throw all the rock out keep it narrow all the white material when you’re walking up and down wash away the gold Will not wash away be able to process 25 to 50 times and material using this technique . Find the gold first Flash floods when it’s raining it’s storming best time to move material but you must be active in the water get your rain gear on get in the water up and down throw the rocks out the light stuff wash away the more water the better
I started to follow your channel 7/28/24 and enjoyed watching the dredging operation. I did notices the quartz stones with the red & black in it. They could possibly contain gold. When I find them I crush them in to a powder. Then pan them out some have gold some do not. Just a friendly though
@@doniannuccilli32 for sure I’ll give that a try glad you enjoyed the show
👍
Nice work! Nice gold! I’m looking forward to your retorting video. I got some amalgamated gold I’d like to clean up. Good gold hunting! Take care.

@@jesseraynor4988 thanks for watching email sent about the gear
Is that mercury naturally occurring or is it the result of previous mining? Great shots as always.
