I used to microwave mars bars when I was a kid, in fact it was the only way I would eat them. I found that it was best to microwave it in very short bursts, rotating in between. Mine would come out soft and melted but still pretty much in the shape of a Mars bar, rather than the pizza.

Oh, and if you want something impresive as it starts to cool you can shape it into a bowl, or cover one in cling film and leave it to cool around it . then when it's solid you can use it as a bowl for ice cream, or, well anything that wont melt it.
