I know! I love the merfolk and they are all so beautiful! One of them we will see later will be my future hubby! With the update, they have finally started to add some diversity to the merfolk too which is very cool. Taco is so adorable! I love how all the pets in this game have a route they take almost every day.

I think I saved the pearls and people on discord said to keep 2 of each gem just in case they get a use in a future update so that is what I did after a while.

Absolutely! There have been a few times I finally sold something then no sooner did I sell it, I actually needed it! Digital hoarding is awful but helpful! I'm trying to stop in this game because the chests are expensive but I always give in and build a helper chest because it's cheaper. 😂

I agree, I don't think they age. I'm curious why out of all the things to not age, cats and dogs are the ones! I'm assuming the pet pig wouldn't either then. I'm happy though pets can't pass away because it is awful even in games.

I have heard about that game. I remember seeing a trailer or something for it a few months and I kind of dismissed it because it looked too much like a clone of Stardew that only added magic. I might try the demo but I don't know how much time I will have to play it unfortunately. I think I have reached a point with this genre that it needs to be a fully new idea or some type of new gameplay for me to play it. Like Coral Island with the diving and merfolk or Plum Grove with the changeable rules and generational play. There is kind of a drought of games I'm interested in right now! The game showcase event that's been going on the past few days is even further cementing that unfortunately! When I'm sick, I'm the opposite and stay away from everyone even if it's just a cold. I will cancel everything I had to do that day. I know a lot of people just go about their everyday life even though they are very contagious, which is why I still wear a mask everywhere I go. I still have not had covid (knock on wood) and I'm trying to keep it that way! I have enough problems with my allergies! But yea, all the sickness in this game pretty much comes from the ships docking other than malaria pretty much.

Very true! At least they got one right, most games put both as veggies so I guess one right is better than none! 😄

@@Lexi_Plays_Games I have a berry allergy so when I say strawberries, raspberries, black berries are all fine, but bananas, blueberries, and cucumbers are a no it confuses everyone. Basically nobody labeled fruits and veggies correctly😅 and because of that allergy I pay more attention to the mislabel than most 😂

I understand fully! There was a time when doctors thought I had food allergies 10ish years ago so I learned a lot about the different categorizing of food. Ended up not being allergic but I still avoid those foods I have sensitivity to because allergies change a little every 5 years or so. Now even with seasonal/environmental allergies, my skin patch and transdermal tests show no allergies when I'm still very allergic to cats and all pollen.

Thanks for the tip! I didn't know that! I don't even remember seeing that in patch notes but the last update was a while ago. I really hope children can't pass away in any game. So far, I have not seen any child pass away in any of my many saves. It is really scary when your kid comes down with one of the worst illness in the game. It truly was an OMG moment!

@@Lexi_Plays_Games I have delt with many of the illnesses in the game, and I have personally never seen anyone with malaria in my personal games, but I have seen it in other's games, But I have only had 2 saves so far in the game. Smallpox and consumption have been the ones I keep seeing, and they are both devestating, to say the least 😬

I think for my saves, I've only dealt with malaria and smallpox. There is one save where I thought Matthew Bayley had consumption from how his picture looked in the villager tab, but since no one else got sick, I'm assuming now since I have learned more about the diseases that it had to be malaria.

@@Lexi_Plays_Games Pray you never see consumption, its worse that smallpox. it did a number on my town so bad and over several seasons that I shut off diseases just to get rid of it and it came back after about 2 days. That's kind of the same time I decided to start over .

Oh no! Sometimes I really don't understand this festival! For the ego that Bobby has, how does he not have osmium quality stuff! A lot of people on Reddit complain about this festival. I don't think the point system is fair at all! There is no world where silver quality should ever beat gold or osmium quality! The point system is based on the selling price then a bonus for quality I believe. Then you get 5-6 points per category represented for the diversity bonus on the total points. I use a spreadsheet made by someone on reddit. It kind of helps you learn the tier system but it is frustrating! Once I have a winning combo of items, I just keep them in a chest off the global inventory on the farm and use it every year! I think I have unlocked those recipes. I agree, they didn't seem too useful since they feel like such late game items. Maybe the mines one will still be useful. But I don't like how a lot of potions require bugs or special items that you can only buy from people. If they want us to use bugs, then give me a net!

I'm glad they have that in the game because it seems rather violent trying to pet an adorable animal with shears in your hand! 😂 Just as a fair warning, it will be a while before you see me try to do that because I have to film very far ahead because I got picked for jury duty this month. So don't think I'm ignoring any of your suggestions for the next week or so, I just have to film almost 2 weeks ahead right now!

@@Lexi_Plays_Games I kind of figured that was the case, jury duty is the absolute worst. I will still give feedback and information that may be helpful to you regardless. Btw the pig is for people like us that turn off decay, they give rot each day when you pet them so you can make compost, to be honest though, I didn't see a big difference when using it on the crops.

I hate jury duty so much! I'm hoping I don't have to go in at all! I'm not scheduled for another week, but I'm planning as if I will be called in everyday. Anyway, interesting about the pigs, I always kind of wondered their use since they can't find truffles or anything like other farm sims.

I figure it out eventually. The problem was the discord because when someone else asked this question they said to buy the hay bales from the Bayley's. The furniture was me being snarky and frustrated! I still find this to be the most convoluted pillar of them all! I hate this pillar and will probably never do it again!

@@Lexi_Plays_Games It stumped me as well for a bit until I realized that not all decorative items sold by NPCs are things I can craft. I got the small flowerpot blueprint early in one of my saves and I used that. For me, it's the Cooking Pillar that is the most frustrating. In my "things can rot" save, I have to be vigilant and not let things "star down" etc.

I think I used for the first 4 donations the pot the Lighthouse keeper sells for 19-21 coins only because I hadn't unlocked any of the cheaper pots for me to craft. Once I unlocked the pot that is just dirt and raw clay (something like that), the pillar was done so fast! I think what frustrated me was a few items that were placeable were not included in the 58 craftable items. The cooking pillar I think would be so difficult with everything on! OMG! I am doing okay with it once I figured out plain old gold star bread counts. So I became a full on bread maker then made some of the recipes that require bread that are cheap to try to get a second chance at getting gold with my non-gold bread. I haven't tried the everything on save for a while because I've had the weirdest starts!

Thanks for the info! Someone else in the comment told me it HAD to be a female. I hoped that was not the case because ummm...it's a little sexist. We had child #4 who is a girl and I'm currently trying to make her the heir, I going to try to turn my aging off for about a week or so to make it happen because I want a female heir. I don't like the guessing game so I'm trying to force it to happen. She will have an apprenticeship from day 1 or 2 of aging to a child. I had a feeling the length of time would affect how well they gain skill so that makes me afraid Selena will not have the best cooking skill for the pillar because it took so long for an apprenticeship opening. So I'm putting my hopes into baby #4. I'm trying to do the maths to see when #4 will age to an adult because Lexi was a day from becoming an elder!

No apologies needed! I don't mind! I go on a few anti-Arvio rants in this series. Arvio is the worst character in the game! I think the biggest rant I go on is after the scene with the Mysterious Salesman and Arvio's reaction to having to pay the builder back. I lost it a bit! 😂Catori annoys me A LOT but I can get past it for the most part without ranting as much. When I play on my own, I skip every single word of her dialogue because everything she does comes from a very selfish place. Even when her family comes to town, she's still just as self centered. I think what annoys me most about the two of them is they easily could have been made into one character. They are so similar is so many ways (in so many bad ways) they make each other redundant. It feels like they are both only in the game for more romanceables.

I wrote that in the description. I figured that out after exiting the game twice and verifying game files then went on discord and saw it is a feature now. I think it's a 10% chance. I wish I could turn it off because it is cute, but it gets old after awhile.

The steel tools and steel bars can be very annoying since they feel so rare! The devs claimed they upped their occurrence but I don't think so. I've been waiting to upgrade my barn for 1 more bar for what seems like forever! But yea, the kids costumes are so cute!! I have seen about 70% of Pen's romance stuff. One of my beta testing saves for Act III, I romanced Pen to see if he ever gave anything away as to who he really is. I wasn't able to see it all because the test ended and I don't even think all of Pen's stuff was implemented at that point in the test so I'm curious to do that again in my other save. Don't apologize for the ramblings! They always give me a laugh because that's how my brain works too!

That is cool! I will remember that, thank you! I think it is probably supposed to proc about as often as the double fishing but somewhere a decimal point is missing in the coding. Hopefully they will just leave it be and call it a feature.

Fall and spring are the rainy seasons. I really wish the animals stayed inside during the rain or snow. It feels like I'm mistreating them but I don't think animal disease exists in this world other than starvation. Congrats to you and Isabella for surviving! I have done the same thing before when my character got smallpox. Consumption is the old term for pneumonia, a bacteria infection where the lungs filled with fluid and the person wasted away (the disease consumed them essentially). Diseases off is a nice way to play. I sometimes have it off, for the channel save it is on. I'm reaching a point where I'm tempted to turn it off again because the epidemics are crazy sometimes! I have taxes on for this save but other saves where I'm just playing for fun it is off. Early game taxes are annoying then you get used to them. Later on in the game they become equally annoying again because they go up 10 coins per month so it gets to be ridiculous. I think what is the nice thing about this game is you can play however you feel like and whatever way you have the most fun or challenge, which ever you are after!

The placeable part of the pillar is so annoying! I went on the discord to see what people there submitted and they said buy decorative hay bales and potted plants. So I did that and the hay bale was a no-go. It's placeable! I even tried to donate a chair because I'm gifted so much furniture in this save but no. The 19-21 coin potted plant sold at the lighthouse keeper is the best thing I found so far. I haven't even tried crafting things yet. I will definitely have to remember the meat for the animal products. I know the butcher sells gold items regularly. I may unalive my animals when they are near death so I can get something from them their inevitable passing. I hate doing that! I agree I don't want to sacrifice my milk! In this game, anything that gives you speed is the best item! Too bad the bronze egg bug is still in the game! I'm tempted to join the mod branch to see if it's fixed.

@@Lexi_Plays_Games I am usually too soft hearted to even think about unaliving my animals in any game, but I would rather get something out of them than just letting them pass away naturally, it started with geese, they get out of control fast. Hopefully there will be a patch soon in the main game. I don't want to have to go with a beta branch or whatever, and I have sworn off discord for personal reasons. So I rely on you tubers and steam for some information.

I'm also afraid to join the beta branch. I think what stops me from doing it for the egg bug is one of the devs Erik has said for a few bugs to join the mod branch because he has fixed the bug in that beta code, but he has never said that for the egg bug. So I'll just deal with it and hope I get gold meat and tallow from my lovely chickens and geese. I don't blame you for avoiding discord, it can be a very toxic place especially in the communities for some of these games. Plum Grove is pretty good but something like Coral Island is one of the most toxic places on the internet!

@@Lexi_Plays_Games My decision to leave discord alone was over a situation with mod developers for the game Ark, Survival Evolved and it was a whole thing. I will just wait for the fix to come to the live game, hopefully will be soon, I completed the animal products on my last save with chicken and geese and the tallow. When I upgraded my coop the second time, they absolutely exploded in population. I would get rid of a couple elder chicken or geese and the next day I would have babies running around. Still love the game though, never got into Coral Island myself, but I loved the My Time series.

I wish I knew why it was only 21 days for the season. I'm thinking it's for the challenge because you have 28 days less per year to finish things. So your life is quicker. Fall is so beautiful in this game! If it's James Hutton, he is always miserable so think of it as you are giving Isabella a better life with you! She deserves so much better than James Hutton! I need to get this achievement still but I may just start a save, buy the cake, give it to someone random, and quit the save. The hotbar thing is something I learned early on. Keep only good edible things on the hotbar, the food poisoning is brutal and seems like it lasts forever!

@@Lexi_Plays_Games I was watching somebody stream this game and the developer was in the chat, she explained that the reason the game has 21 days in a season is because of the aging mechanic. Take that for what you will, not sure I understand it, but it is what it is 🤨

Interesting...I wonder if for the aging mechanic it was easier mathematically to deal with the life span and the different length going off of 84 vs. 112. Maybe 84 +/- the difference between short and long life spans seemed more balanced to them. Interesting though!

@@Lexi_Plays_Games Maybe it was to ensure your character sees spring at least before aging up, when playing on normal.

The Taco storyline is very sad but cute! What is neat about the Tree Planting Festival is that every year you complete the festival through Year 3, you get to see the forest expand. Year 2 you plant a new area and you can see the 1st year plantings are growing. It's nice to see a festival change like that!

Thank you! I was shocked at how fast I got them! The double catch is the best perk ever! The Coral Island beta...is very buggy. 😂 I think they were too ambitious. For most games, this would be 2 separate updates, one for the merfolk and one for the S-Rank questline. You can tell the S-rank stuff has been worked on longer because it is working well, the merfolk stuff is a mess! They fix one major bug and it causes tons of new ones. I think they are overwhelmed! I don't think they will make the goal of an end of June release. They are pushing it for a July release to be honest. I don't think in all my testing of Sandrock I have seen anything this bad! They do update the beta 3-4 times a week. I play to see if I can finally romance Semeru, it hasn't been fixed for me yet and that is a bug that has existed since Day 1. With the amount of players looking to romance the merfolk, that has to get fixed! Some people can romance the merfolk, most can't which is BAD because it's a save to save problem then. I would hate to put in 100+ hours on a save to find out I couldn't romance who I wanted!

@@Lexi_Plays_Games Yeah, I've been keeping up with the beta bug report forum part of their Discord - that was my first indicator that perhaps I need to just wait and see. I hope they fix the Semeru bug! He's the only decent bachelor (to me anyway) since they won't implement Axel as romanceable.

I just played today and I think he is fixed! I can finally romance him and he's my boyfriend! They forgot an entire mission for it to trigger! Oy vey!

Thank you for watching! I always love the little discussions that happen in the comments! It's the main reason I started doing this. All of the assets for this game are so cute! I hope they carry this cuteness over to the next game whatever it is! It does feel a bit like it's the end of the journey for this save. I'm sad too. I'm still deciding if I want to do another save. I think a lot of it comes down to when Coral Island's update comes out because that update is HUGE! It also has to do with where the devs decide to take this game. If they do a big DLC like I hope they do, it will be an easy decision to come back to the save. But it seems so far like they are taking the DLC path of the Sims 4 kits where they change a small part of the game but not a lot of new content or story.

Yea! It really is a fun game! It can be challenging but it's fun challenging! I think the weapon durability was why I stopped playing Zelda. It felt like 5 hits and the weapon was done! For this game, your first save I would definitely keep food decay and tool durability off. Aging is default off so do whatever you are comfortable with. I would only turn the decay and durability on when you fully understand the mechanics otherwise it is frustrating. I'm still trying to win at this game with everything on and it's difficult! RNG can be a beast sometimes!

Oh no! This game can be brutal! William is slowly becoming the forever husband for this game. He tends to lose his job if you have him work around the farm, but oh well. It works out because every time there's an epidemic you have him look for a new job and keep whatever works best for your needs!

@@Lexi_Plays_Games My last save I got to year 7. I kept going despite losing Rowland. I had over 500k, fully upgraded everything, the pillars done, and all the steam awards except for making an enemy, I just can't bring myself to do it. I wanted a fresh start and I am still in love with this game 😍

Wow! I haven't played beyond early Winter Year 1! Right before I started this save, I got to mid-Fall to learn the mechanics of the game. I did a few speedruns trying to test random things or see holidays but wow 7 years...I can't wait to see what I can do with 500k in the bank!

I think when I play with the DLC again, I'm going to concentrate on something like a Starby or Superstarby army. I have tried a few times to do a Fang save and his story just isn't for me, so I pick Logan again! Right now, I'm really into Plum Grove and Coral Island testing so I'm also holding off on playing Sandrock again. I also keep trying to win with everything on at Plum Grove but unfortunate or strange things happen and the run comes to an end. Sometimes it's me being stupid. For Coral Island, I'm trying to marry Semeru but the jerk keeps denying me! I only want to see the merfolk wedding and his 10 heart event! I'm about ready to give up because the devs have tried to fix the bugs with the merfolk and fixing one thing bugs out tons of other things. There is no way this update will be ready by the end of the month which is their goal.

I did eventually thanks to the traps. I'm assuming that bug is a tiger beetle because the tiger beetle is the biggest jerk in any game! That bug is my arch nemesis! 😂

The fishing is hit or miss. In my other save, I get fish every few days, this save none at all so far. I wish I knew the rhyme or reason behind it. In every game, I get a coop first for the most part. I always go for the least amount of resources to the most mainly because I'm gaining items from the coop while saving up for the harder to do buildings. This will be the last save for this game that I do that, at least until the bug is fixed. It really is a shame it isn't fixed! My pillar would probably be done already if it wasn't for this bug. Part of me is tempted to try the mod mode of the game because a few times the devs have suggested that to people for various bug fixes. I'm just too afraid to try!

Sorry about that! It sounds fine on my computer. Unfortunately the volume will stay the same through final episode because I'm already done recording this series. I will turn down the game sounds for the next time I record Sandrock whenever the next update is.

I have also found that to be true. She becomes nice in life and in death. I normally give her roses, I'm not getting her anything special! 😂It really doesn't take much though, I think it was around 2-3 roses.

The starbies and penskies are so cute but scary at the same time! The allergies this year are awful! I'm a pool of misery! My cough is back in full swing so it's really annoying. Even my inhaler isn't helping! I completely forgot to take Logan out on a date to Catori World! Oh well, maybe the next update or DLC I'll remember to do that. I already finished filming my mini return to Sandrock. I was hoping it would be longer but there isn't much to do in this update or DLC. I fully understand the forever husband curse in this game! I really want to see other people's romance missions but even in a different save where I haven't even flirted or talked to Logan, going out with someone else or just using the flirty dialogue feels like cheating!

@@Lexi_Plays_Games Everyone I have watched play this game finishes this pillar last. They usually struggle to do so.

I'm sure they are struggling! I have been doing a lot of cooking in my other save and it sometimes feels so random what the star level it turns out to be.

The starby song is so haunting. They are adorable but a little creepy. Their song is a nice addition, so bravo to the sound team! I only heard of Pokemon however many years ago when the Pikachu movie was everywhere. I don't get it or understand it. I don't know anyone who plays it. I know people who play Magic the Gathering which is probably an equal money pit! The only other way I have heard of Pokemon is in passing from people playing the Pixelmon mod in Minecraft and I would watch like 2 seconds and think this ain't for me so I didn't watch it. The DLC is okay, it's not my thing. I don't like fighting with the animals or seeing harm to my animals so it's just not for me. I'll be uninstalling it for my other save.

The sand sledding is still in the game over in the desert area. The sand buggy race is to make Catori World feel like it has a purpose. For a while, you built Catori World then never went back to Catori World 😂 The sand buggy race I think is more fun than the sledding, but it is very touchy with the controls. The DLC is okay. I probably would not have bought it if I wasn't recording this. If you like Pokemon you might enjoy it. For me, the free update was more than enough of an update to the pet system. I really didn't need the ability to catch any of the other animals.

The sleep mechanic is strange in this game. I try not to take a nap because sometimes it seems to screw up the sleeping schedule more. The lobsters were not a problem in this save. I caught all of them in one night by about 1am I think?!? I have tried that also for the ghosts before. I've had about a 50% success rate. I one time had 2-3 days left for their quest, my character was pregnant at the time, I waddled all the way down there to watch them walk to the edge, disappear and never return. I exited the game thinking it might reload them but that didn't help. I waited the 2-3 days and nothing, just an auto fail. It was also before the last update so they might have changed something.

I am curious about that too. The early game is so much easier with the Gecko bringing you water so I'm curious if it changes as they level up. I don't think I would ever really use them for combat in normal gameplay but people who want to do a pacifist playthrough might be able to use the pets instead. I think it would be difficult because the animals are slow to start the attack so you will need a lot of heals. The Capture Meatball I think is a mistake because people reported it as a bug on discord. The devs thought the person had the DLC installed and the person said they didn't. The dev said they were going to look into it. So that makes me believe it was not supposed to happen. I haven't tried to feed it to the animals or anything. I thought there was a different treat to help them level up and the meatball was only for capturing. There needs to be a better tutorial for the DLC! I'm very confused by all of this!

I just went into the game to look at the meatballs, they do level them up but the treat that is supposed to give them a bigger boost cannot be gifted or used in the upgrading screen so there are some bugs still! They are expensive to be an item that isn't correctly implemented!

There is a pinned comment on this video that states the Pathea devs and the mobile game developer have parted ways so the game will now be a self-funded PC/Console game instead. The Pathea devs will be making an announcement soon for a kickstarter campaign for it. I have no clue when that announcement will be but I have a feeling it will be after the bugs are worked out for the Sandrock DLC and update.

It feels nice to be back in Sandrock. I don't think it's going to be for many episodes though. There isn't that much content in this update and DLC as I was hoping for. I'm very excited for Project ME. I'm keeping my excitement in check until they announce more about it. I think it has a lot of potential with what I've seen so far! The Howlett thing is weird! Moving a cradle 1 block makes all the difference! I think my kids in general are bugged because at least Lilly should probably be a child now.

I figured out apprenticeships when I went into my other save and saw that Daniel had passed away. Most of the town has too so I had my selection of apprenticeships for that save. I don't think I could give some the unaliving cake to creating an availability. I have been tempted though to do a black widow challenge and see how many spouses I can go through! 🤣

Thanks for the info! The apprentice thing, I figured out. I went into my other save and looked at the deaths, Roland's apprentice died as did a lot of the town which was also why I had so many options for apprenticeships. The husband thing, what you wrote makes sense, but that is also the dumbest thing in this game! I only changed his job to have him be a farm helper on his days off. In my previous save, on William's "rest" day I had him clean up the farm and he then returned to his job as a carpenter. I hope they address that because there is no point to being married in this game if you can't have your spouse clean up the farm then return to their job! Oh well, I guess I'll never ask my hubby to clear the farm again!

LOL! The mini games are very fun but very stressful at the same time! The Cherry Blossom Fest is the prettiest but the Spooky Fest and Winter Fair have the best games!

I have no idea why this keeps happening with William. I think it's an heir and spare type situation. His brother is the heir so if you marry William he loses the profession. On my first save when I married him, he went back to being a carpenter; on this save, he becomes a hunter. So either heir/spare or a bug with the newest update. I was trying to test this a little today on a new save but on Day 6-7 a smallpox outbreak started and the whole town has it except for me and 5 people. I got my vaccine that morning. It's really funny! So needless to say I'm starting over a new test after I see how many people die!

I'm doing alright, thanks for asking! The allergies are so bad this year! They keep getting worse it seems every year! The fact that you can have a baby in the middle of the road was very surprising to me. I was really thought it would wait until at least I got to my yard but everything in this game is at midnight. It was funny though! The babies are so cute!

100% that agree with you that releasing the game too early is their biggest mistake! I think the 1.1 testing cements that because it is easily doubling the content and it has everything in it that isn't currently implemented. 1.1 makes the game finally feel complete. I wish I knew why they picked this path of releasing a half finished game. It tarnishes everything about Stairway for a lot of players who are angered by the fact that so much isn't implemented and their communication sucks. The devs stans and discord moderators don't help the situation because they add to other player's frustrations. I wish Stairway understood what a special game they have! If I want to play a farm sim, I now play Coral Island because I prefer the art and diving aspects of the game over Stardew. The devs can do so much with this game but they have ruined it for a lot of players because of the bugs and glitches they ignore. The torch bug is one of the stupidest ones I've come across so far!

@@Lexi_Plays_Games yeah I totally don't get the stans, if you're truly a fan of sth you'd be the first one to point out imperfections. I only check the subreddit of Coral Island, which is mostly 'why isn't x romancable?!' or new players asking questions and most of the time they get decent answers. Snarly comments get downvoted.

I'm 100% a Sandrock stan and I'm the first to criticize the game because it's not perfect by any means. I can go on a good rant about what is missing in Sandrock! The subreddit is definitely a more positive place to be. I try to check there for help first, then if I must, go to discord.

This playthrough was a very early Alpha so the models were in their most basic form with not a lot of detail and it was for mobile phones therefore very limited on the graphics. That is probably why Logan looks awkward. At least the devs didn't repeat what they did to Logan with the Portia Wanted posters! 😂 If you read the pinned comment, this game is no longer coming out on Android phones only, it is being switched to a PC/console game. In the last update, the game was already very different than what this playthrough shows. The game will probably change even more so now that it's on better gaming systems. Logan is probably not going to be romanceable in this game. I would be shocked if he was. He is mainly there for the tie-in to the previous Pathea game to get people interested. I don't know how much this game will be like previous Pathea releases with romance and relationship building. I think it has a chance to be more like Portia or Sandrock since it's going to be a PC game. They are due to release more info about Project ME soonish.

I've been playing the 1.1 test a lot in the past few days and nothing in the update even comes into the game until you reach Rank A, so your thought process is correct. The entire ocean farm and merfolk storyline is gated behind the end of the Pufferfish story. It's also tied into the Rank S quest series. The ocean farm is such a stamina hog though! OMG! My land farm is fully automated and I use all my 750-800 stamina points on the ocean farm. Your ocean farm has to be quite big in order to advance the merfolk storyline at a decent pace. The 1.1 update is HUGE like doubling the amount of content huge! It still needs more balancing but I'm quite impressed with what's in the update!

@@Lexi_Plays_Games ah ok that's a good goal to have then if you're not ranked up! I'm glad you enjoy the beta, even though it's guaranteed to have bugs in it 😅 it feels like animal crossing new horizons all over again with the updates. On one hand it was exciting to prepare for new content on the other hand it was sad that all that content wasn't available from day one.

There are a lot of bugs! T-Posing merfolk, can't date any of the merfolk, merfolk events not triggering, no music for festivals, and merfolk having legs when they are underwater. 😂They have a lot of work still to do!

@@Lexi_Plays_Games omg merfolk with legs 😂 so the beta might take a few weeks then I guess. Idc if it takes longer than usual to get the 1.1 update out, they should take their time and thoroughly fix any issues (especially the ones we currently have, like the torches and sheds)

I think they are aiming for 1.1 to be out by the end of June...I don't think it will be. I'm thinking it should be in July if they want to do it properly. There are still about 5-6 merfolk who don't even have 3D skins yet, they are just clones of each other!

I love and hate when I do punny things! LOL! I saw the cream and milk mix up much later after I was able to do experimenting on my other save then went back and looked at this footage. That's the nice thing about filming everything you do! It is appalling what isn't taught anymore. I'm so happy I went to school when I did because my class was probably one of the last classes that had a well rounded full education. The cursive thing I don't understand how they can get away with it! As a civilization we are supposed to be advancing so why are we going backwards to the point where people have to sign with an X!

The Chieftain scenes are interesting. I wish his story and the other Giants was more developed. There is more with them in the 1.1 update. That update is going to be HUGE! It doubles the amount of content! This might be my longest series I ever do! The new content I've seen playing the beta is at least another 50 or so episodes and I'm not done with the beta content yet! The monsters are cute! In this game, there is a setting for combat where you can have hit to aggro for the monsters. I have that on for most of this series. This is the best setting otherwise the monster almost instantly aggro on you. It's also nice in case someone wants to do a pacifist playthrough. In this game, I would leave the monsters alone if the combat skill wasn't tied to a machine that duplicates items. That is the only reason I unalive the monsters!

Thanks for the watching and enjoying the series! I had a lot of fun with this game! I do enjoy this game and recommend it! Right now the game in its current form is half done, but with the next update, I think it's finally to the point of being the complete game it should have been on release day. I would still wait for it to be on sale because it goes on sale quite often.

Everything in this game is so adorable! The kids are so cute! The best thing is the game has a good name generator for the kiddos! With my history of naming things, I'd end up with a kid named Floof or Bah!
