Leftist socialist Government sticks their criminal nose into the Labor Market (which is a real market place and should be free to choose by each participant) and destroys workers rights. You don’t believe me . Well it’s true. Government is the destructor of worker’s rights
Wouldn't describe Tory government as leftist government
Brilliant show Robbie, fast becoming my favourite podcast along with Geoff from McPhees, Damien from mr tidy garden, and rob from maxwells, Scott from se , best of luck from Dublin and keep up the good work
I think you must have found this off a playlist as it hasn't been made public yet, you got an advance showing ha!
If we think about HR as people then we understand they are susceptible to the same bias as every other human being while also being paid by the company. You can only be trusted to be helpful if you are bringing maximum value to the company.
In most corporations and major businesses, HR is not for the employees. HR is there to look out for the company and Exec Mgmt.
HR can be good for the employee and the employer
@@Roots_to_Revenue Nope. They have a bottom line, and it's the company.

Great chat. Loved Scott's Sunday morning videos religiously watched them every Sunday am when they were released such a knowledgeable & friendly/helpful guy.
Yes, Scott shares a lot very valuable information on this podcast and his own videos ☺️
This is the problem with bosses and managers. Just because they have no life and dedicate there whole life to a company working god knows how many hours and striping there own pride from there souls with the constant asskissing. They expect there work force to be the same. They don’t understand they are only there for the money.
Once it comes down to it, just about everyone is the same, unless it's voluntary
Where can we find Scott's business videos please?
Here you go youtube.com/@scottellwoodgardening287?si=YKBoS3UKAEftUZJt
Nice one👍 staffing and the issues and stresses around them can be a nightmare. Everyone I know who've "made it" with large businesses and workforce tell me they wish sometimes they'd never done it.
I know a good few lads that isn't to have a big squad and they all say it's not worth it and shrunk it back down
I have found this so helpful. Scott’s explanation about being ruthless is something I need to take away from this!
I think a lot of small business owners can resonate on this
Nicely put, just attended a course and this is exactly what was said, hook and CTA Call to action
A good hook and call To action is key
Can’t wait for this episode, Scott is brilliant
It's a great interview, he cover a lot of ground

Great chat. I've a very similar story but let's just say it wasn't a month I missed hitting the threshold. You are able to claim assets vat back for 3 years here and even that didn't help me😬😅 meaning to do a video on it just to remind people to check their turnover. Cheers Robbie
That would make for a good podcast if you wanted to come and tell it?
@@Roots_to_Revenuethanks Robbie, sorry for this late reply... I'm finding time a problem to get anything done ATM 😅👍

Hey Reece, thanks for your comments
Great podcast 👏
It was hard opening up old wounds as I've never really spoken about it before, but Robbie and Jason had a good set up and I felt so chilled I forgot the cameras were there so it flowed naturally. Glad you enjoyed it and hopefully more people will

"People buy convenience...The more convenient and easier, the greater the chance you're going to get a sale" --> this is such great advice and certainly what we hear across all service industries. Great episode guys, lots of tangible takeaways.
Thanks Maegan, I think that's the main thing. People buy from people
At what point to take the leap and hire someone? I work alone going into my second season and looking at a full diary if everyone rebooks, which they said they would, and the phone started up with new enquiries. Wondering whether to take on more work and then hire someone to help or consolidate what I've built so far.
It depends on how much money you have coming in. The first employee is the hardest. I struggled for a couple of years, managed to recruit a couple of decent lads but come the winter didn't have enough work and they left That was pretty frustrating for all concerned Then I went down the apprentice route, young lads are much easier to pay and expect less, if you hit a quiet spell it doesn't matter so much. Chances are it will take 2 or 3 goes to find a good one. Again, frustrating but also very rewarding once you get a good one The downside is you need to train them and they won't get as much done and get stuff wrong The cash in hand guys will always let you down, always. That's why they aren't in full time employment themselves Lastly and it's not for everyone as it takes a bit of trust, is bringing someone in that's similar to you and self employed, they can only do this on a part time basis or the tax man will call you out If you are thinking of employing someone, contact your local council business department and ask them for support. This will be someone that can help you navigate your way into taking on an employee and it will make your life 100 percent easier
