The Truth About Scaling a Tech Business: Lessons from Johnâs 10M Journey
In this episode, I had the pleasure of sitting down with John Krewson, the founder and CEO of Sketch Development, a company he started in 2015 that has rapidly grown to $10 million in revenue and earned a spot on the Inc 5000 list for two consecutive years. John shared his incredible journey of building a software development and coaching company that serves large organizations. He explained how Sketch focuses on teaching companies to better understand software development while providing consulting services that help structure and organize their technology teams for greater success.
One of the main takeaways from this episode is John's deep insight into leadership and company culture. From his early exposure to software as a child to his unexpected leap from entertainment into tech, John's path was filled with lessons on adaptability and perseverance. He also dives into the principles of agile software development, explaining how Sketch uses a unique combination of software delivery and management education to help organizations optimize their processes. His view on balancing efficiency with effectiveness, as well as the importance of learning to be comfortable with being wrong, offers a fresh perspective on leadership in todayâs complex business environment.

So true sleep is the first important thing we can do for ourselves but majority of us donât get enough sleep due to a lot of reasons.
Hello Dear, I watched your TH-cam video and noticed it ranks lower than others.I was analyzing your TH-cam channel. ItsRajTut struggling with subscribers and video views for monetization? SEO is lacking, though your content is fantastic. Do you know why your videos aren't attracting more views? One key factor is the insufficient SEO (your videos' SEO score is 0/100%, ideally it should be 70%).if you'd like, I can assist you with improving it ,I can help you grow your TH-cam channel & your business. Let me know if you'd like my assistance. Best regards, Maruf (TH-cam video SEO Expert).
Dear , Love to see you along with this channel on tech discussion. But I am really very surprised to see that you didn't consider SEO for each of your videos. Where I found this SEO score is 10 out of 100 as per VidIQ and you also not used any good quality tags in here. So, as a subscriber of channel, I want to know that is SEO completely valueless or you have any other techniques. Thanks.
bro, let the man yawn, he is struggling.
E2 visa with only a 13K home investment? 13K to 100 M in 10 years? Your real estate portfolio and business is about employing as few Americans (USA) as possible and taking advantage of lower income families in Southern Illinois and the Metro East Area (11.2M annual while employing 25?). Youâre part of the problem and will eventually go back to Canada when you finish squeezing lower income people in this area. This video provides little information about where your initial investment comes from after graduating college with a stupid degree (check the box type degree). With next to nothing about your background besides your fake rags to riches story. This is a story about a 13K failure of a mobile home to suddenly affording a 300K mortgage while being on a visa, âso believableâ, all this before mentioning your parentâs Line of Equity (So Self Made, So Smart). Iâm glad that the TH-cam algorithm at least still acknowledges fake gurus because I canât publicly/visibly dislike content anymore.
Hello Sir, I am a professional Digital Marketer and SEO Expert. I visited your TH-cam channel, Your content is very good. But I found some problems in your channel, your videos are not SEO optimized, so your videos don't reach more viewers and your videos don't get more views. Your video needs SEO optimization, it can easily get thousands of views on the video. I can help you to grow your channel 100% organic and perfect way within a short period of time!!

Super and encouraging...ðð
shelfful conversation.
Iâve known Bob for going on 20 years and learned more about his grit in this interview than many of the social outings because he is so humble about his business. Excellent interview and advice. I was caught with a real estate portfolio in the 2008/9 downturn and it takes a rare individual to be able to work out one-on-one with the banks and investors and have them trust you to continue to steward the asset. Bob Walpert, youâre a class-act and thank you for always being an encouragement even when times were tough. Thankfully, the Lord has been generous with His favor and Iâve been able to rebuild and prosper and His hand of favor is just getting started. My key takeaways: 1) treat people how you would want to be treated (Golden rule derived from Jesusâ teaching âlove your neighbor as yourself.â 2) Some things are outside of your control, however, you can still do your best to make a positive outcome, and even if it looks dark at the time, remember this truth if you are in Godâs family Rom8:28: âAnd we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.â ââRomans⎠â8âŽ:â28⎠âNKJVâŽâŽ bible.com/bible/114/rom.8.28.NKJV It doesnât mean that everyone will think that the time that the challenge youâre going through is âgoodâ, it just means that God can work it for your good, if you: 1) love God above all else, 2) are called to His purpose. Thank you, Bob for sharing your wisdom and work ethic with the younger generation. Blessed to know you and call you friend.

I think it's because of family who are married. You guys are not encouraged to have kids outside marriage- which I respect that immensely. Indians make a stable home for their kids to grow in.
