This has been the hardest solo I've done. The challenge was Melee Only as Protector on the Split. As fate would have it, I accidently discharged my weapon when I tried to switch to flash grenade. But regardless I'm happy with the run. I might try to re-do this run in the future to make it truly Melee Only. One piece of advice - if you want to maintain your sanity, DO NOT ATTEMPT this challenge.

There is one more thing that I did not add into my vid. And this is pure speculation. If I'm right, E-Day campaign will be based on a certain comic book and one of Karen Traviss' books. But I don't want to say anything at this point. Time will tell. Hope you enjoy my vid and let me know if you find any more Easter Eggs in the trailer.

Needless to say, we all have been looking forward to some news about new Gears of War game. We have NOT been disappointed. Time to revisit the past.

Outtakes - When things malfunction on Malfunction.

This run involved a lot of grinding. During the run I learned a few things: 1. Malfunction has at least 2 tiles in the hive where Venom does not do any damage. I will upload a clip later and show where these tiles are. 2. Architec's hologram has its drawbacks. You need to make sure enemies see/ shoot you before you deploy the decoy. If they don't, they won't be distracted. If enemies spawn AFTE...
