I'm Angel, and I'm a self-taught programmer who loves to push my limits through projects.
I even love to learn how to learn!
What kind of projects do I do? Well literally anything (it doesn't have to be programming related)
If there's that something inside of you that says "I can do anything!", then you're in the right place. This mentality is what I live by. If you also feel like you want to learn everything, but have no time, then you're still in the right place. I get that feeling every day.
The videos that I post here are projects that I take on as a way to test myself, but I also want to help others accomplish their goals as well. I try to add some humor as well because life shouldn't be so serious all the time.
I want to give you the belief that you can accomplish anything you want, and I would like to give you the courage to try. Life is about learning, and I hope to help you skip days, weeks, or even months on that learning path.

I Entered a Game Jam with NO Experience
I've never done a game jam, let alone have experience in game development, but game jams have always looked so fun. I decided to join one hoping it would put a fire under me to actually make a game instead of procrastinating. It definitely did pushed me, and it was exciting to learn about what it takes to make games.
If you want to make games, but feel lazy and procrastinate, do a game jam, you will not regret it one bit. You don't even have to be a professional game dev to do it. You just have to be willing to fail over and over again until you learn.

What Diamond Complete looks like in Valorant

I finally hit Diamond Complete! This video is a little late because I hit Diamond Complete a couple of months ago but I wanted to still document it because that was my original goal when I started the benchmark climb. Great vid! thank you !❤ I’m still curious about how do i set my sensitivity. I play both Valorant and Apex and it’s different sens so idk which sens should iuse or do i have to find new sens that i feel comfortable just for KovaaK’s👀
@@koonsuntanatrakool thank you ! I can tell you that sensitivity does not matter. In fact, I used to train with a sensitivity randomizer. In the beginning I would struggle with really low sensitivity, and really high sensitivity, but then all of a sudden I started to be consistent on both. I even started to get personal bests on random sensitivities. So just use whichever sense. And if you randomize it, you will actually train both the wrist portion of aiming and arm portion. So I think it’ll be beneficial
@@theangelvee Thank you for the advices !

i’m ngl i was grinding the benchmarks for a solid month and seeing slow improvement and i was wondering why i stagnated LOL (i’m around jade) ;-;
@@solusxj yeah the improvements start to slow down. Now your reaching the point where you have to really optimize your technique and try to optimize every second to squeeze as much points as possible
how do you go from not knowing what boolean, function, class, if statements, variables to making a game in 2 weeks without following a tutorial?
@@mikhailhumphries If you don’t want to read everything, here is the TLDR -> I have coding/learning/computer experience, but I’ve never made a game before nor have I ever joined a game jam. But I’ve always wanted to join a game jam, which sparked the fire for me to actually learn all the basic stuff to make a game. If you want to ready everything: Well I write code for work and enjoy learning about computers on the side. So that definitely helped. Programming languages all have similar fundamentals, so I just had to google how to write stuff specifically in GDScript. But I’ve written code in Python, C, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript etc When I say “no experience”, I mean I’ve never made a game before. But that doesn’t mean I’ve never developed things before like software. At the end of the day, developing a game is kinda similar to developing software. You try to implement something, it breaks, you troubleshoot, then you fix it. It’s a continuous loop. I did get a lot of help of how Godot was structured from Brackeys. I will also add, that I’m not a beginner in learning new things. I’ve taught myself many things over my lifetime, and I’ve read books on learning. Understand that people come from different backgrounds. So someone who has never touched a computer before, will take way longer to make their first game, vs someone like me who has grown up with computers all my life and have read books on computers and programming and learning etc etc.
How do you only have 130 subs????? I thought this was a 100k channel!

yeah i kinda ran into a very awkward spot with the voltaic benchmarks. i was doing Tammas' Routine Addendum for like 3 months maybe a bit more and i got to intermediate but i wanted to actually take my aim training serious so i started doing Voltaic and i was getting silver scores and barely gold scores. So i wasted my time doing that lol. been doing Voltaic Gold fundamental routine for maybe 2 weeks now and i just got all gold scores on the benchmarks so i started doing the intermediate benchmarks and i was very close to getting the score requirements for platinum. which was frustrating cause that means im unranked in intermediate and i was ready to move on to plat. being stuck on gold was a bit annoying. went to reddit and reddit said i should either stay on gold till i get plat rank or just move on to plat as long as its not too hard for me. Is there any advice for what i should do? do i just say fk it and stay on plat since i believe its not too hard or me or should i just continue to stay on gold till i get plat rank?
Always move towards what is more uncomfortable. if you feel like things are too easy, then you won't improve as fast.

I appreciate it! I didn't put in all the frustrating hours of me banging my head against bugs, so it's more like "the best moments where everything came together perfectly" lol I have programming knowledge as well so that definitely helps. But game development is a very interesting world and I would like to make more cool stuff especially in 3D instead of 2D.
i was always a good player in fps games and always had good tracking, problem is im the opposite as you. so basically i went up from 0 to low plat in 1 week of kovaaks and voltaic, then i noticed bounceTS is what i was incredibly good at, (current bounceTS intermediate pb is 700) but i was actually trash in all clicking scenarios such as 1w5t or something like that, really small targets that arent moving basically, and i still do trash scores on those
Yeah it's very dependent on your history. I used to play a lot of CSGO 8 years ago, so I had an advantage when it comes to clicking scenarios, but I sucked at tracking. So it makes sense that you probably have a different history and different advantages
@@theangelvee yeah most of the games i play are tracking based, used to play cs and valorant too but never shined too much and always relied on crosshair placement more than real aim
Man this really should be pinned somewhere in the voltaic discord, the text tutorials are nice but it's so hard to follow without visuals. A year later and still a banger video, thank you!
@@Micyek hey man I appreciate it! Yeah it’s so much easier to visually show these steps. I feel like that’s what most gamers want is to have something simple to follow!
Hey nice video! What scenarios would be important for a game like PUBG (for the most?) its a bit slower than Overwatch
Honestly, training all 3 of the main aiming types will help. They are all very fundamental to aiming in general. If you want to have solid aim you want to train all. If the time to kill is high, then tracking is important. If you see a lot of players consistently at once, switching is important. If time to kill is low then clicking is important. That’s like a general guideline. I honestly haven’t played pubg in years so I don’t remember how fast the time to kill is. But one things for sure is since you’re not in the action as much in a battle royal, aim training will help you iron out your weaknesses faster.
@@theangelvee Thanks for the detailed answer, yeah some people claim that your aim cannot be trained with this game since it has huge recoil, its high kill time, once your crosshair is on the target basically you aim down to compensate for the recoil and get a kill. So its sort of like clicking but once clicked, aiming down. Only sometimes do you get driven by so I can keep tracking there as well. I also like to play kovaak so its a win win, already seeing some improvements!
@@gwnbw that’s awesome! In that case you’re going to see a lot of value in practice your recoil patterns. I’m not sure if it’s predictable recoil like CSGO or RNG, but you can at least get a feel for your favorite guns and practice the recoil. But you still need to be aiming in the right spot anyways so aim training definitely helps. Aim training can never substitute game sense and game mechanics though. So if you lack any game specific mechanics, those definitely have to be trained and targeted in game
@@theangelvee Yup seems like imma just keep doing my playlist, and practise the recoil more in the 'training' mode thats within the game :D Ty
@@gwnbw no problem! Any time!
What if you have not Rank ? x'D Made the switch to KnM just a week ago with XDefiant coming out ... I hope to make progress on KovaaKs
Just keeping pushing my man. Using Kovaaks for a person who's new to KnM is actually so good. If you consistently train every day, you will improve so much quicker than someone just grinding the game. Just train all of your aim types. It's probably going to feel impossible at first, but your brain will adapt if you train every day.
@@theangelvee appreciate the vote of confidence man, I'll see if I can keep you updated through the comments section. Thanks again for the introductions to Voltaic 🙏😎
@@BlazingJacob yeah man of course! Don’t forget to play your main game. If you notice that a certain part of your aim is weaker than others, make sure you spend extra time training those weaknesses. Like for xdefiant, switching and reactive tracking are the main skill sets to train. But you still need to train up all of the skills because they are all fundamental to your mouse control.
Hey man you earned a sub. Really helpful and well-done video.
I appreciate it :) I’m glad it helped! Good luck in your aim journey
Wait so when it comes to benchmarking, do I only do each routine once?
I would recommend warming up a bit or just trying each scenario a couple times. If you’re just starting out, these first scores won’t really matter. If you practice enough, you’re going to blow these initial scores out of the water. So don’t over complicate it. I would say, warm up so you’re not completely cold, then go through the benchmarks twice each as a good starting point. Remember, you will most likely improve these scores very quickly especially if you’ve never done aim training. It’s more of just to see where you’re at currently and give you a structure to follow. Also this improves the whole aiming experience and makes it so that you can see your progression in a more gamified way.
Great video! Looking forward to starting my aim training journey🙌
Hell yeah man I'm glad! Aim training is definitely satisfying and fun! Don't forget to train the actual game that you want to improve at as well. Unless your goal is to just do aim training. Either way good luck!
super helpful getting started guide, thanks
Of course! I hope this helps you improve!
Is that normal if i have two scenarios close to master in tracking but the rest is not even plat
It does happen. It means you probably have some strengths in some areas and weaknesses in others. It’s completely up to you, but you could spend a disproportionate amount of time on the other scenarios. You can still train your master scenarios, but focus harder on the ones that are more difficult for you. So for example if you spend 20 minutes on each scenario (hypothetical number), then when you get to your master scenarios, maybe spend like 5 minutes to keep them solid, but spend more time on the others. That all depends if your goal is to be more well rounded. But if you want to just be a beast tracker then you can train them too. Depends on your goals!

There are so much better things I can be doing right now” I would encourage if you or other people have that similar voice in your head, then follow it. Your time is precious, you don’t want to throw it all away on things that don’t make you happy or that don’t lead you to your true goals.

Hey man i know in retrospect this sounds silly but i have been spending my time just grinding out the benchamarks on repeat i wasnt aware there playlists for each rank with insights Appreciate this a lot <3
Of course! Glad you found use from the video. Yeah there are many routines out there. If you want to improve and stick with it for awhile, you're probably going to go through many routines. Especially once you get better and better you have to find more creative ways to push yourself!
can u split it into 2 or 3 so do harf of routine then next day do other harf
Yeah of course. If that's what suits you. At the end of the day, this is one routine. Everyone has different time available to put into aim training. Just take the time to construct a little schedule, and then just perform on that schedule. You can test out different times and see what works best for you!
there should be no easy way.. if youre not struggling YOURE NOT DOING GOOD
Love the video what rank are you now? I see you haven’t posted in 9 months
Hey man. I'll be honest, I no longer find value in playing games competitively. I find more value in playing games for fun every once in awhile with my friends. But to play by myself, I find it (personally in my opinion) to be a waste of time, only because I have different goals that I'm striving for. I haven't played Valorant competitively in like over 6 months. I left off in high Diamond I can't remember exactly what rank. I did enjoy making videos, and I do like making content. Gaming content just doesn't align with my real goals in life. Gaming content requires me to grind games, I don't like paying games like that anymore. So it's just a vicious cycle of me doing something I don't like. We are all different! But I also encourage everyone to turn off all the noise around them, and ask yourself deeper questions every once in awhile. Sometimes you'll realize that you truly don't like the direction you're going. Better to realize it now, than to waste years of your life. Do what you love, set out ambitious goals, and shoot for the moon!
Ty bro didnt know about this
Hell yeah man. Go after it
Thanks, ill give it a try!
Hell yeah my dude! Good luck!
Why should u type it manually? There is a script which do that for u.
I am very well aware of that! Couldn’t get the script to work on my computer so all the work it would take to figure out what the issue was, wasn’t worth the time that I could just type it out with my fingers.
im currently also stuck on bounceTS... I hit platinum in every benchmark except this one haha. I'm 3 weeks into training, is this fast progress?
I think platinum in every benchmark in 3 weeks is pretty good!
For a tiny channel with a small amount of views, this video was really helpful, sadly I benchmarked iron I've got some work to do.
Hey man trust me, the improvement is so fast from iron . You’ll be gold in no time. Just be consistent every day and you’ll see the gains!
Do you still recommend this improvement method months later?
If you want me to be honest, I don't aim train like I used to. But consistency, random sensitivity generator, and focusing on accuracy over speed will definitely help. It will take time, but you will get faster. Accuracy is beast
Hey cool vid ! Can you tell what sens do you use in valorant and kovaaks ? do you change sens in kovaaks often and was diamond complete done on one sensitivity or many ?
I like to stay with one sensitivity. But I also love using a sensitivity randomizer. On valorant my sens is .45 at 400 dpi . When this video was made I think my sens was higher. Sens really doesn’t matter in my opinion but some senses make some scenarios easier.
ALot of people get confused and grind the benchmarks and wonder why their progress is so slow... play the fundamentals! use the benchmarks to check if you can level up
Link the fundamentals then
Boring. Benchmarks are the fun way.
People don't develop good mindset and brain hack. Which can be a hack in life too. You train and focus on consistency and not your high score
