Amazing Results of Broadforking Vs. Inverting Soil
That is very loamy soil. You are very lucky.
our soil is heavy clay but has been turned into a loose soil by the application of copious amounts of compost.
Can you tell me how you irrigate your strawberries? Is that a drip line?
You were in my suggested… great video!
Thank you!
Hey buddy. Make sure you have that lamp extra secured with like a zipe tie through the back half, I have had those inexplicably unclip from the wood, or other things. And fall. Heat lamp fires are pretty common because of them falling.
Thank you so much for that reminder.
Nice vid! Start that stuff inside. Seeds don’t need light to germinate 😊
My suggestion would be to run an outlet and use a heat mat for germination. Plug it into a thermostat outlet with thermometer. Now you’re not heating the whole space, just keeping the germination trays warm
I've started spring cleanup already hear, nice greenhouse, happy Easter.
🐝Thanks for the great video🌻🐰Happy easter!! 🐰 subscribed
Thank you! Happy Easter to you also.
How wide are these beds and what kind of spacing are you using for your broccoli?
I'm really happy to watch your video, I hope you will grow and create for the benefit of all our compatriots with love. And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.
I just need to get half a dozen chickens!
I'm wanting to do the same thing with my horses poo and pine shavings from the stalls.
bro. tvoi petuh zaebal voistinu.
Its wonderful to see how much you have expanded your farm! Such amazing work and produce you and your family provide the community!
Thank you, Garrett. We appreciate you.
Killer channel name Great looking potatoes 🙌
I've had really bad issues with cucumber beetles this year. I'm not organic though, so I just spray. I grow half-acres of them anyways, so the insect netting thing isn't really an option. I do most other crops organically, but not the melons/pumpkins. I'm in the southern USA, where that is literally impossible.
how do you start strawberries from runners?
The runner must have roots. Cut runner off of main plant and "plant" the runner, roots only, and keep it moist.
One of my previous videos may show that.
your garden is gorgeous!
Thank you!
Great video! I wish I had that much space so I could pretend that I don't still have an even bigger weed problem! Where are y'all growing? I'm new to your channel. Thanks!
Thank you for your kind words. We are in Ohio. Wish you well.
planting some deep root (daikon radish) cover crop and let it rot in the soil over winter is good for compaction . Broadfork is a MUST tool for sure
Signs of a good algorithm. Best of luck to you all. Beautiful haul. 🙌
Oh, thank you so much!
Hello video popped up in feed just subbed looking forward for more vids, good variety in produce non farmers think it's easy to grow stuff 😀
Glad to have you. Thanks for your interest!
Congratulations, you have a wonderful garden, and I really enjoy your channel.
Thanks very much for your kind words and interest!
Awesome garden! Are you bringing in wood chips every year?
Thank you! Yes, Local arborists drop wood chips here throughout the year. We are grateful.
Your garden is beautiful!! Best wishes for a bountiful harvest!😊
Thank you very much!
awesome...sheer genious
Oh, thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
wow😊
It's a linoleum knife, for flooring.
Keeps them entertained
Great video 😊
Love to see your crew harvesting the carrots. Impressive crop.
Looks like a great crop! I look forward to seeing more videos and learning along with you.
That’s a beautiful spot! I’ve never had luck topping anything fresh like that unless I use it or sell it straight away, but I’m sure you know it keeps a few months longer if you dry it with the tops on.
Where do you sell your produce.?
On the farm & occasionally farmer’s market.

I grow some Johnny's "Crispino" which is a moderate size Iceberg. Here in western Pennsylvania it needs to be harvested early to mid June as it bolts when you get a few days in mid 90's. I also grow loose heads.
Can I ask what growing zone are you in ?
We are in zone 6a. Close to being 5b but technically 6a.
