As someone who read the manga when I was 10: they are canon. Touyayuki is different from Kurofayi in Tsubaru Chronicles or Douwata from xxxholic. Those never confessed even thogh they have done a lot of gayest stuff. Yuki actually admitted to Sakura when she confessed to him, that he likes her brother. Not to mention theres multiple times Touya wants to confess but been intrupted. How much more canon do you want this to be 😂 And it's also canon that Tomoyo romantically loves Sakura. It always makes me wonder if CCS got sensored or something in the English dub?

There is nothing in these clips indicating that these two guys are gay for each other. All you people out there just chill, you read too much into nothing. I have seen a lot of anime and a manga where the characters are ambiguously gay, but you know it from their actions. These two never show any sign of crossing the line. There is always a natural space between them, there is zero flirting on any side and neither one blushes at the other or tries to infringe on the other’s personal space. Even if for arguments sake, the boy with the famine features happened to be gay, he views and respects the other boy as a friend only. Gay people can have non sexual friend relationships with straight people.
