A poem for my Mum
Mum, Nana, Valerie or Jo
She lived a life of 4 people you know.
Her way with children was something like no other,
No wonder we loved so much our nana and mother.
In Westerfield she would watch her grandchildren swim
As she had to touch the bottom nana would never jump in.
So proud of her grandchildren all nine
She loved to watch them grow and shine.
A banana milkshake or a sherry
Was her favourite tipple while watching Eastenders on the telly.
How she found time to watch all her soaps nobody knows,
But you could always find her sat down with a tin of heroes.
She looked after her nails not ever a chip
She had a few falls and ended up with three new hips.
Whatever traumas came her way, and there were a few,
She always picked herself up and found a way through.
Generous with her Quality Street tin,
But woe be tide you use her brown bin.
She couldn’t cross her legs, ski or ride a horse dr Bramar said
If you do any of these you'll end up in bed.
She liked the horses and loved a shout,
But greyhounds were her favourite without a doubt.
Greyhound racing was a passion that she loved to mix with fashion,
For if E.O.11 was in two, she would be dressed all in blue.
If you told her you were using Head and Shoulders she'd say ‘Blimey!
You know that’s the reason Howard’s head’s so shiny!’
She’d been so many places, Australia, India even Russia,
But her favourite place had to be South Africa.
Dementia could not stop her laughter,
We will remember her chuckle for ever after.
She lived a full 89 years,
Now she wouldn't want your tears.
Just remember who she was to you,
Someone you could depend on through and through.

Tennis Cross Court Singles best choice for doubles players with only two available.

Cross court singles is a great game for tennis players who prefer doubles but only have two players available. It is a tennis game full of long rallies mainly because you can only hit to the opposite corner of the court (cross court). The tramlines are in, the same as doubles tennis. However the opposite side of the net adjacent to you is classed out so no down the line shots. Everything else i...

Got the samebike LO26 E bike,I had it since February 2022,Had replacament battery,Replacement tires,Now having it repaired today again,Having a new chain,New ball bearings in the crank,New gear cables,New gear shifter,It do gets used a lot,Also had another replacament back tire again after the tire grips have worn down,All to do with wear and tear once it gets on the roads
DO YOU STILL HAVE THIS BIKE 🤔 HAS THE BATTERY LASTED OK IM ON VERGE OF BUYING IT AND YOUR VIDEO HAS CONVINCED ME ITS THE BIKE FOR ME.🚴♂️🚴♂️
DPD; first class indeed - I totally agree.
Good honest well explained video.
About best review I've seen. I'm also looking at LO26 11 version. Think you're the only review I've seen where you've got seat correct height as in standard bike. So many have seat very low which if you're wanting to pedal is harder. Think it's about £830 from Europe. £80 cheaper than UK I shall probably have rear rack. I'm 78 new yrs eve. Been ordinarily cycling for about 8ys after 45yr absence. But now need assistance up hill. Ive got Campervan & will be used a lot. My wife died last Yr & going away a lot which helps me. Great video
Great video,I've just got the version 2 model. 500 watts and colour display it's excellent 👍
I'm thinking of buying the lo26ii have you had any problems with yours is it reliable 🤔 I'd really appreciate your opinion
Hi have you still got the bike and has it been reliable is battery still good . I'm on verge of buying the samebike lo26 ii and would appreciate your opinion on it.
It's a cool bike,I had no issues.Never let a battery fully discharge and don't ride in heavy rain !
@Stevieboy Thanks for quick response I'll order bike next week 👍
Saw someone say on trustpilot there bike never came on samebike web i want there my275 but dont know weather i will get scammed any info thanks
can i ask is it a struggle to cycle when there's no assist at all? i kinda imagine it would be with the size of it ?
I find it fine though I’ve never ridden one of those really light road bikes imagine they are easier you only notice the weight up hills
Hi. I bought a 500W version of this bike from ebay to replace a previous one that had been stolen. I'm finding a lot of shortcomings on the new bike and the seller is kicking back on every issue I raise. First, I lose my chain just by backpedalling. On investigation I found that there are 12 "clicks" on the left thumb shifter. Surely there should only be 3 on a 21 speed bike???? Seller is saying the manufacturer supplies it with 12 settings. There were only 3 on the first one I had. Anybody happy to tell me how many they have please? Second problem is that the throttle gives me LESS power than the PAS level I'm using. On my other one I could happily ride along on PAS1 then just hit the throttle if I came to a small hill and get more than enough of a boost to get up the hill without having to increase the PAS level. On this new bike I get no help from adding the throttle. In fact, if I'm cycling on the flat and I hit the throttle then stop pedalling, the bike slows by about 3kph, on a small hill I can lose 5-6kph. Lastly, the s830 lcd. Can you think of any reason why I can't change well over half of the settings? I know that some are not supposed to be changed but I know for sure that I should be able to change P09 (zero/non zero start) and I can't, and I suspect that this might be the reason I'm getting such poor performance from the throttle. The only settings I can change are P01, P02, P08 AND P16. Is this a faulty unit or is there something I can do to make the other settings accessible to me? Sorry for asking so many questions in one go but I have a strong suspicion I've been sold a dud.
Good Morning. Do you know of any ebike engine cable connector that can be applied to the Samebike LO26 cable, to facilitate the removal of the rear wheel?
Ordered 2 and they are great
How is the bike going? I've just ordered one direct from the Samebike website.
yes going really well new tires, new saddle x3 and a handle bar extension. I have really got used to the assist now never touch the throttle just change the assist I am really pleased with it 14 months on.
@@ytchrisd Nice! I ended up cancelling it and buying a Cube Katmandu because I wanted the mid drive power and because the Chinese bikes were taking too long to get through customs. I'll make a video about the Cube soon too.
Suffolk Punch .... I am a Brit and never heard of it/them .... I looked em up, nice horses. Good video mate .... going to order the 500kw today. I like your leisurely pace of chatting .... why use 3 words when 12 will do, eh? :-)
yes my family would agree with you I could talk for Britain 😀
Is there a way to reset the bike to its original settings ? I speed hacked the bike and it's draining the battery power too fast
Here you go Glynn these are the Samebike LO26 S830 default settings:
Nice review. Good information. I see several Samebike models, which do you have?
mine is the 350 w L26
Hi Chris. I've got a similar Samebike and bought the same TURATA Bike Frame Bag as you. I wonder, how did you get the rear velcro strap to go all the way around the frame? Did you buy something extra to do it? Mine won't go all the way around (but the front strap does).
Your right it wont go round I added another length of velcro I had laying around for tying up wires
Did you buy this on Ebay, Amazon or direct from the supplier?
Ebay a seller called Krumr I had a quick look they seem to have increased in price when you count in the postage!
if you press and hold your bottom button it will go on its own in walking mode
Great tip thanks David I used it today off road when my wife was walking on her horse and it helps in the mud without going to fast really useful.
I've been selling these bikes in Ireland for a few months. Almost every customer wants a stem riser and angled stem like this picture - facebook.com/elfobike/posts/172553704607899. Important to point out most customers are over 50yo. Makes a big difference.
Yes I agree the stem riser makes for a more comfortable riding position. Being six foot I found I had to have the seat too low to be comfortable with original handle bar position. I installed one my self got it from Amazon £17 www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B06WVT8M3V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 it was very easy to fit, now it is much better well worth it in my opinion. I am still searching for a really comfortable saddle tried 3 still think there isn’t such a thing! Can anyone recommend a comfortable saddle for my 50 plus butt?
I wouldn't worry about what non e- bikers think. I used to race many years ago(I'm now 58) They will know instantly you are on an e bike. The reason I'm looking into an e bike now is I haven't used my mountain bike for 4 years due to struggling not realising I had a heart condition. Having been treated I now want to get out again for gentle riding with the ability to use throttle to get home if I need to. No other cyclist could possibly know of my reasons for having an e bike. I certainly wouldn't be killing myself to impress them. Been there done that. Best of luck on your travels.
is it charging the battery when going downhill?
No i am afraid not
Thanks for the info - I'm in the same boat wanting to accompany my wife on her horse. We live half way up a very steep hill . Did you consider the 500w version?
500W wasn't readily available at the time, offroad it's more about the tires than the power the ones they come with are fine for the summer and roads in my opinion. I am having some Shwalbe tires fitted next week hope they will stop the punctures (only had 3) and keep me moving in the very wet deep mud. I am really enjoying getting out again on hacks I am sure you will.
Very interesting video & good to see your bike in action on country roads and tracks. For a UK wine tour project next year, I need a strong folding bike for transporting wherever. As such, having looked at the Samebike LO26 26 inch Folding Electric Bike - I'd appreciate knowing if your bike is that model or if not what is it, please?
Yes mine is the LO26 It seems they have been upgraded to 500watt version now (mine is 350W) so more power that should help with all those vineyard slopes 😀
If you ever become single - call me!!
How can i buy this bike from Portugal? actually i couldn't find any showroom in Portugal...
Great review myself and my wife are road bike users but but the hills aren't getting any easier, when we are away in the motorhome we tend to take the road bikes on some not very good tracks and trails which they aren't really suitable for but we enjoy getting off the road exploring, so my question is what seller did you use as the delivery time was very good and was it on aliexpress or where, you may have mentioned but I missed it
I got mine from China from krumr www.ebay.co.uk/str/krumr They all seem to be selling the 500W version now which I suppose is a bit more powerful though my 350w has plenty of power and battery life. Krumr has 500w Samebike at £785 on eBay. I love going off road but now it has got very wet where I am I have got stuck a couple of times in very thick mud made by big tractors! I am sure you and your wife will enjoy going off road exploring.
@@chrisdearling9108 thanks for the info Chris 500watts awesome some nasty climbs around here the ebike would gobble them up I'm very tempted to pull the trigger, Suffolk looks great,I'm a fine weather cyclist plenty of wind and rain in Ireland hopefully I'd be inclined to get off my backside onto the ebike a bit more than what I'm currently doing
Hi Chris. As you made this video a couple of months back ,do you still like the bike? It’s not let you down in anyway has it? Still no punctures yet no? I have the lo26 bike myself now and had the tyres changed within days as I didn’t like them. Thanks from ray.
Hi Ray, I think you were right to switch tires I still have the originals on mine had two punctures in the front from riding on flint stubble fields. I got completely stuck in very muddy conditions last week the wheels were sunk in the mud a good 5 inches got in a right mess! The trouble is I want good off road tires when I am on the muddy tracks but don't want them to slow me down on the road so unsure what to get, what did you get? I have tried a couple of seats both ok but not super comfy (is there such a seat out there?) The bike is running brilliantly the battery last for ever only charge it after two 10 to 15 mile rides it still says 100%. I usually just give the battery a boost for an hour or two before heading out. All in all very pleased getting the hang of controlling the speed when out with my wife on the horse its all about keeping a steady consistent peddling pace in the right gear and you get a little assistance with out the yoyo effect. It is getting wet and cold here now so not ridding as much only once or twice a week with my wife and horse they are usually under well under 10 miles (fair weather rider) hope your having fun on yours.
@@ytchrisd Thanks for the reply Chris.Ok, the tyres I changed to are called schwalbe marathon and there anti puncture tires. There mainly on road tires as I don’t ride off road.As for the seat the bike originally came with, lt was hurting my backside so I changed it with an old seat I used on my old electric bike. You can buy a gel seat cover for yours for added comfort. There not to expensive to. Look around eBay or Amazon for them you will find them. You can get gel style seat covers or memory foam ones. Hope this answers ya questions yeah. I’ve watched your long video a few times now and I like it.Anyway take care mate and thanks from ray.
UK law says you have to have a licence, tag, insurance, mot for this electric bicycle.
wrong.
@@tonykenny9894 ok why not
@@tonykenny9894 so come on then tell us all why it's wrong.
@@63phillip Check the DVLA website, restricted to 20 MPH, must be pedal assisted , no restrictions on use or requirement for road tax, mot , still classed as a bicycle
@@tonykenny9894 Do you mean this DVLA. These electric bikes are known as ‘electrically assisted pedal cycles’ (EAPCs). You do not need a licence to ride one and it does not need to be registered, taxed or insured. What counts as an EAPC An EAPC must have a pas used to propel it. It must show either: the power output the manufacturer of the motor It must also show either: the battery’s voltage the maximum speed of the bike Its electric motor: must have a maximum power output of 250 watts should not be able to propel the bike when it’s travelling more than 15.5mph An EAPC can have more than 2 wheels (for example, a tricycle). Where you can ride If a bike meets the EAPC requirements it’s classed as a normal pedal bike. This means you can ride it on cycle paths and anywhere else pedal bikes are allowed.
I have the Samebike lo26 500w. I want to buy another battery 48v 12.8 ah 1000w, for an upgrade. It's possible? Same parameter to change in the computer bike? Sorry for my english...
Great review thanks. Would you do me a favour and tell me what the width of the main frame is please? I'm trying to buy a child front seat that goes over this area but cant find any dimensions. And also are dimensions eg poles and back wheel bolts all quite standard to allow me to fit bag carriers , mud guards etc or does the motor mechanism get in the way?
Hi the cross bar is 5cm wide 10.5cm deep the back bars are 2cm by 2.5cm bolts are standard. I used a velcro extension to fit my phone holder around the 10.5 cm. The mudguards are adjustable and I notice a lot of people don't fit them so that's an option.
@@ytchrisd great thank you Chris
Hi is it possible to have the PAS set to 2 for example but when i decide to use the throttle i get the full power of the motor as my throttle is dependent on the setting of the PAS. ie if its set at 2 then i get limited power from the throttle but if i set the PAS to 5 i get more power from the throttle which is irritating because if im going up a gradient and need a little more power than what the PAS is providing and press the throttle it stays at the same power unless i reach over and turn up the PAS?
I agree it would be great to have the throttle power related to the assist level your on. I am not sure if you can do that I hold the throttle in one place with my thumb (I have a long thumb) just using the amount I want. I know the
Thanks for reply. Still can't get battery out. Before I take it up with Gearbest how many positions does your key have? Mine has 2. 1)In line with frame - electrics active.Key locked in. 2) Key twisted clockwise (looking from top of bike ) - electrics inactive - key removable. Is this your scenario or is your setup different?
It has three positions on off and unlock and when you unlock it so the bike folds the key pushes in and turns to that position then don't forget you have to take the key out, the small black safety latch off then the big black latch then it should fold good luck
@@ytchrisd Thanks for the help, worked like you said. Looks like I won't be winning the Krypton Factor award this year.
to set the key to get the batterry out, you have to push the key itself slightly up. and tehen turn it
Thanks for a very enjoyable ride. Took delivery of mine from Gearbest a few days ago. A couple of questions. Can you remove the battery from your bike, if so how? I couldn't figure out how then in the manual book it said 'with the standard version the battery is not removable'. !? Also what does the lever do on top of the right fork?
Hi Peter once folded (turn key to unlock and remove key) you then have a plastic handle that flips out at the top of the battery grab this then remove the battery by pulling away from the bike with this. The blue lever on the front fork turns off the front suspension for riding on smooth roads this will give you a better range. I personally never turn it off as I ride c roads a lot. Hope that helps enjoy the ride
Is this bike legal on UK roads? The whole issue confuses me. Direct.Gov says if an ebike has an electric motor greater than 250w then it needs to be registered with DVLA, needs insurance and you need a crash helmet 🙄. Surely not.
They have limited the speed to 25kph so it seems crazy to limit the watts surely its the speed that matters, not the power that gives a heavy person the ability to ride up the hills. Thought the Government initiative was to help the over weight get fitter by getting them out on bikes etc ?
Very useful video, thanks.
I have the Same bike I installed tiers with Kevlar lining, new tubes, better saddle & a rear rack. On longer trips, I use the cruise control. It has a USB charge connection in the gauge.
Hi do you still have the bike and has it been reliable I'm going to buy the samebike lo26 and would appreciate your opinion
Fantastic video about this Samebike. I ordered one this morning the new 48v 500w one. Can’t wait to ride it.
Thanks glad you liked the revue, I reckon the 500w will keep going for longer and be a bit stronger up the hills enjoy
Hi. How are you getting on with the 500w version . I'm collecting mine on Thursday
Thank you very much for the review, very informative. My Same bike just arrived and will assemble it soon. Hows the tire? How long do you use it before you get your first flattire? Is it better to change the tire and the inner tube straight away?
I have ridden about 400 KM since new the original tires have been great I have them at about 38psi as this gives the best comfort off road. I think I am going to stick with them until I get a puncture at least 🤞that wont happen soon.
I would rather be on HORSE 😂😂😂 I just bought this bike and the instructions were super confusing and only in Chinese 🙄 But it had pictures , so I managed...I think !? It's charging right now and the tires still need inflating. Is there a good video of this been assembled, because I have several parts left and have no clue where they go 😳 There are also ZERO INSTRUCTIONS on how to start, program, change gears etc, etc. I haven't owned a bike in decades and the only reason I bought this electronic bike now is because I'm old and retired to Nevada . I want to be able to enjoy outdoors but here in the valley, there are a LOT OF HILS AND MOUNTAIN TERRAIN and I probably Would have a hart time enjoying my ride without some help 👍🏼 Can't wait to take it out ❤️
I hope you enjoy it you will probably be using full throttle on those big hills! I did a 52KM 32miles last week longest trip so far and it still said 100% battery when I got back !
Chris Dearling o g, that's so exciting ! Why would anyone want to own a moped and have to spend on grass when you can just own one of these. Lol, love it 🤗

Very nice review it has made me make my mind up to get one as like you i researched a lot of different e bikes on youtube, oh i also liked the drone footage what drone were you using?? keep up the Vlogs.
Thanks, I am using my old original Mavic pro I would love to get the new skydio 2 I think this could take my drone footage to another level.
I’m thinking of getting a same bike that’s been a great help 👍
its a great bike for the money
is it too fast . ? interdit en france !......
once you get used to consistent pedalling you can keep your speed to what you want and using 1 2 or 3 assist will give you less top end speed

It was the worst for me. Horrible time of life in the 80s. Really affected by being removed from school at a young age, loads of issues later in life. Strict teachers whilst reeling in the loss of primary caregivers. Not a good combination. If your children appear ok with it great, but any sign of constant homesickness - please pay attention; it is affecting them and let them go home!
i love brandeston, it is the best school in the world!!!
