What was the thickness of the thermal pads you used? How did it do in your thermal test?

I've got two of those laptops. The build quality is absurdly good. Makes you wonder why they overengineered them so much(?) I hit this video because I'm about to change the fan on unit #2 now. I know what I'm doing but always just check youtube for any "gotcha's".

So little thing i wanna mention...a few little things actually 1 i have rage and stress issues so you could guess i hit my controller here and there but the function almost seems the same nothing feels too broken... except for the drift 2 i completely play without the stick top bc idk why but it cause worse drift than normal...and some are broken (i got 2 headsets bc one broke and my parents don't think the dev of the quest 2 will replace it for free) 3 i have no compressed air at all and i don't think there's any kind of alcohol with a eye dropper syringe to get far that deep will alcohol pads work instead?

After you remove all the shells of the Disc drive there is a mechanical arm in the back , when i first removed all the shells a black color spring with one of its ends straight while the other one is curved into a hook where is it supposed to go ?

Hello Mr iam facing that problem i think my console overheats but with buzzing sound coming from power supply i replaced the power supply but still there is that buzzing sound iam not sure anymore if its the power supply making that noise . What is the problem and fix can you help pls ?

Great video! Thank you. I've ran into an issue with this thing. Two small parts fell out and I have no clues where they're supposed to go. One is a silver triangular shape with P1 imprinted on it and the other is black, rectangular, is bent into an L shape with P2 inprinted on it. They both appear to be brackets and have one and two screw holes in them. Any idea what I'm talking about and where they go??? Any help/advise would be appreciated!

Do you have twitter? I would love to send you a video of my stick problem. Basically my right stick (axis2) is going completely to the left by its own when I play cod as an example. It does 360 by itself and I dont even touch the pad. For me I feel like its not stick Drift because turning deadzone up doesnt help. It feels Like its an technical issue in the controller. You think there is anything i can do or maybe know how to fix that? I would really appreciate it. Much Love

I could only find the gears in Australia (ordering from Kitsch Bent amounted to large shipping fees) turns out it's pretty good without the bowl replacement! Unless the stick is extremely limp, 9 times out of 10 the bowl replacement is unnecessary :)

When i cleaned the potentiometer on my dualsense controller, I kept testing it half assembled. After a few tries just cleaning, I used tweezers on the wire where it contacts the socket, I bent it slightly from a U-shaped-tip into more of a V-shaped-tip to reduce how much of the wire is contacting the socket, and now it works, i haven't had another problem all year.

Can I use this on ds cartridges

So I took out one of my ps1 games out of my ps3, and was switching it out for another game. That's when I noticed that it wasn't taking the disc or any discs. What would be the issue for this? Is it the reader that is loose or something?

I did it like you did using Alcohol and I use a good bit of Alcohol and worked it around really good. Then I gave it about a day for it to dry out just to be on the safe side. This solved it. Thank you for your video. 😁👋
