@@blindsportslover I just looked into it. It's blocked. I can't do anything about it right now. Apparently there's some big thing going on with this SESAC Licensing Group. They are blocking a bunch of videos on a lot of people's channels to where only like people in the UK can watch them or something like that due to certain music, which is not how it is supposed to work on here anymore. But it is possible there was another terms of service update that I wasn't privvy to. A couple of years ago, it was stated that the only thing that would happen is a copyright claim, but there would be no impact to the video's viewability. It would just put the credit to the song in the description. I guess it changed back to what it was before. I have a few other videos affected.

Do you know about this thing called EA Sports Trax (just like it's spelled)? It's an option where you can turn off all the music tracks without going into options and lowering the volume sliders. I wish more people used that more often.

@blindsportslover Oh. Lol. I don't think these games have that option. Not on PS2 any way.

Keegan is a really good commentator, and RynoGT4 does commentaries for racing games as well. Ever played iRacing or Gran Turismo?

@@blindsportslover As far as the fantasy track streams, not yet. I'm not sure how back into the content creation sphere I am as of yet. I'm currently in-between jobs, so I'm more focused on that right now. I was just in the process of creating a full playlist for the career mode as well. Lol. You beat me to it. iRacing, no. I feel as if I missed my chance with that back in 2013 when I should have gotten started so as to not race around a bunch of knuckleheads in there today. Lol. But Gran Turismo? That's a thought that I may or may not have been seriously considering in the future. ;)

@@McBlamRacing if you still want to create that career mode playlist anyways go for it. TH-cam kind of changed the way to create playlists these days. You could select videos and then name the playlist in earlier updates, but now you have to add each video individually. It's kind of tedious. Good luck with your job. There's a lot of GT games out there.

LOL. I had to re-watch this, since I made it a few years back. I did not exclude him on purpose. I like Jimmie a lot, actually. I think he got the raw deal towards the end of his Hendrick career. I was just going with the vibe and letting the clips I found match up. The idea was showcasing past and future events and how many events start to mirror each other over time. Certain sound effects in the song drove certain decisions too where I kind went off the first moment that popped in my head when I heard it. There were definitely opportunities to use clips of him, Tony Stewart, etc. I just wasn't really thinking about who to include and who to exclude. If I had to include Jimmie, in hindsight he would be the one winning at Homestead between 1:14 and 1:16, while still keeping that moment with Truex and his wife right after.

Nah. I had 2020, but I couldn't play past Monza because it kept crashing mid race. I tried 2021 and weird stuff kept happening like teleporting 1 lap ahead of everyone, falling through the world, etc. Probably would have been amusing to viewers, but I wasn't having fun trying to record races over and over again. I didn't bother to buy/play any future games after that. I might dive deeper into other road racing games soon.

I have had the game since 2021 and they had 305 sprint , trucks, super late models, late models. And different tracks did you not see those vehicles

Oh. I see. I think I misunderstood what you wrote. Sorry about that. I thought you meant there was an update after the Super Late Model DLC with more stuff. You were referring to all the other cars and tracks in general. Yeah I saw them. I did a SRX series about year before this series. I tried some of the dirt track stuff, but I'm not a fan of dirt racing. I prefer pavement.

There's actually an indie game out there where you can create your own track with a makeshift model of the next gen stock cars NASCAR is using. I forget what the name of it is, but it's kind of a work in progress.

@@McBlamRacing this goes back to the Super Nintendo, but there was a game called Kyle Petty's No Fear Racing. I think you could create your own track and race on it.

Here at Pocono? I'm not that sure since it has been a good while but I do remember that this track is kind of goofy in this game. I don't remember what my settings were, but I think I used the gear rations similar to The Setup Man here on TH-cam. That will have you gearing down going into 1 and back to the throttle sooner than if you stayed in 4th. But I'm off throttle a lot here. Other than taking a bit of a wide arc, I am really not sure how to not be out of the gas for so long... Oh! The cup cars might be able to do that since the horsepower is lower. We were running the Xfinity cars. So there's more off throttle time. But yeah. If you think you have a good line, I'd look up The Setup Man or Aries Motorsports for some setup tips.

Nah. I'm not smart enough to know how to mod games for PS4. Haha. It's actually free DLC they came out with a few months after the game came out. There was the super late model series addition plus a bunch of new tracks. If you have this game on PC, there are some mods out there, but only for the main SRX series it seems.

I was surprised at first as well. Especially knowing there is definitely a market for stock car oval racing that isn't NASCAR, but looking into the history, it makes sense as to why this game didn't get traction. It kind of went through the same pains as NASCAR Heat 4. People were fed up with NASCAR gaming after Heat 3 had come out, so by the time significant improvements had been made to Heat 4, the audience had already moved on, either just not playing anymore, picking up F1 (which has it's own set of issues that even I as a road racing scrublord had to put the game down and never pick it up again), or picking up iRacing. This game had all the other Tony Stewart games before it which were very poorly received, plus the not-so-hot reputation for the developer from the Heat games and tie all that in with the lack of marketing and SRX being in its first season. Monster was behind the 8-ball when this game was released, despite the free Super Late Model DLC which I REALLY loved. Unfortunately, It doesn't have the buffer it would have like say Madden or MLB The Show where there are a bunch of casual players that won't care too much about the issues will still pick it up and play with their friends. The audience is even smaller now that NASCAR has lost a majority of its audience. Oval racing as a sport is just too niche, which is why a lot of other games like Gran Turismo and Forza won't really touch it like that. They'll have some ovals, but... to be frank, they suck. It's just a ploy to appeal to an oval raving fan, but they don't really care because their market is European road racing. Maybe iRacing will do something with it. I'm not all that optimistic. I think if they get away from a yearly title and just provide updates you said, some DLC with new drivers and a track or two, then they can be more successful, especially for a game like this.
