Sorry, no I haven’t tried QGO on Quest 2. You can, although I expect you can’t go quite as high since the game is optimised for Quest 2 already.

Sorry, I've never streamed through Discord. But try turning on "Experimental Streaming" in Discord. I've heard others have solved this issue using this option.

I always play standing up. It's more immersive (and in many games, more practical gameplay-wise). But it also helps to avoid motion sickness. Turning by just turning my body helps avoid the motion sickness you get from turning using the sticks. That's really the point of VR motion sickness - try avoiding disconnects between what you are seeing and what you are feeling. Even though you aren't walking irl when standing up, just the feeling of standing on your feet will tell your brain that what you're seeing (moving forwards in game) makes more sense. Also, until you've got your VR legs, try avoid strafing. It's a very unnatural thing for your brain to comprehend moving sideways virtually.

@@johnaspaul The mod was only a part of the experimental version (which requires an account) but it seems they've incorporated the mod into the normal version now. So you're not doing anything wrong 🙂

Yes, you can! There are three options for wireless streaming. Airlink, which is built into the Quest 3. You just need the Meta Link PC app on the computer. Same one used to buy PC games from meta’s store. Steamlink. Get it from Steam. Virtual Desktop. Buy the app on the quest and download the streamer app on the PC from VD’s own website (free). Don’t get VD from Steam. Which one is best? VD has the most features and settings and is the easiest to troubleshoot. But costs money. The others can be fine but it varies a lot from setup to setup which is best (or if they are usable) so give them a go. Would also be a nice free way to test if your home network is suitable for wireless vr streaming. Remember to have your computer on wired network. Otherwise the latency will be too high for responsive control in vr.

@@Primalsage I think he means that he is not able to download the files from the "Artifacts" section on GitHub, and I have to say that the same happens to me. There is no way to get a download of the file by trying to select the file name (in this case "RE2" nor I get the download icon at the right corner of each files... EDIT: Okey, I just realized that you need to be logged in to a GitHub account in order to have the option to download any of the files from the link, maybe that is what happend to the other user.

You don’t need those. This mod accomplishes the same things.

@Primalsage Yeah I just installed the newest REFramework pd-upscaler branch, and Smooth Locomotion is already implemented, however you still need UpscalerBasePlugin and DLSS.dll. It's crazy how good DLSS is. I quickly tested on my PSVR2 3400x3468 DLSS P and it looks stunning without any shimmering on my very old 2080ti.

It's actually just as fun as it looks if not more. I'd say with all the good games Quest has, it's worth owning both headsets. Only trouble is finding the time to play everything worth playing 😀

I haven’t tested it myself yet but apparently the framerate issues are mostly solved if you run it on the PS5 Pro. Doesn’t help if you don’t have the Pro of course. It should be noted that framerate issues are only in a few select areas. Until chapter 10 I didn’t really notice any. The game really is good silly fun.

@ sweet, I don’t plan on buying ps5 pro because for me red dead redemption 2, Spider-Man 2 etc both look stunning regardless of if on better framerate or better visual modes So if I don’t notice that and I don’t notice loss of detail from 4K to 1080p then I won’t notice any improvement on ps5 pro and I certainly won’t buy pro to improve a few psvr2 games. Like am I really blind ? Or is this 4K thing a scam? 1080p and 4K look same on my leg c1 and even if I had ps5 and pro side by side and noticed more details, I still wouldn’t care because ps4 can produce incredible graphics, let alone ps5. I switch from performance to quality mode on stunning ps5 games and I don’t notice loss in detail unless it’s Ray tracing and most games don’t have that and lack of it, isn’t noticeable. Of course I notice difference between 30 fps and 60fps that’s why I always go performance because I need smooth framerate and as I already said, apart from small Ray tracing detail, it’s the same. Anyway, I’m just going to give Vertigo 2 a try because it really does look bloody fun and I’m going to check out your other videos because this 1 was fun to watch.

Oh, how weird. That bug usually does not happen with this mod. There are two ways you can avoid it: Play as Claire. Only Leon has the bug. Put on another costume for Leon. Only the default costume has the bug.

I've updated the video description with a new link to the mod. Try that instead. Should work with Leon's default costume.

A desktop 3060? I would think it will run fine. I’m using a laptop 3070 with 8GB RAM. You might need to lower resolution a bit due to the VRAM quantity but let me know how it goes :-)

@@Primalsage It's with my gaming laptop which has 3060 4GB VRAM - my desktop PC has a 2070 super which has 8GB VRAM so maybe better to try with PC?

@@ozairgaminghd7931 The desktop PC should definitely run better than the laptop. A desktop 2070 is roughly equivalent to/slightly faster than my laptop 3070 card so you should get at least as good fidelity/framerate as me.

@@Primalsage Great thank you so much for replying. I've been trying all day to get it set up but it keeps crashing :/ Fatal D3D Error 25 Will continue trying later - this is using a link cable. With steam link wirelessly it worked fine but as my Wi-Fi is not the fastest there was a lot of artifacting

@@ozairgaminghd7931 Oh, that sucks. Does it crash immediately on boot or just while playing? Two possible reasons for that error: Old GPU driver - check if you are running the latest one. Or the raytracing is turned on - turn it off.

@@VRVegeta Glad to hear it helped you! I tried out the universal FSR mod before this which helped the framerate a bit. It could not work at the same time as this one though since part of the Praydog mod does the same thing for RE2.

@Primalsage i have zero frame drops. The only problem I've been having is the cut scenes that make me really motion sick, then with Leon, I can see his whole chest and legs i know that's normal but I've seen people have it where it doesn't look as bad. Am I doing something wrong?

@@VRVegeta As soon as a cut scene starts I immediately stop moving my head and the rest of my body. Otherwise It can feel very unpleasant if the camera pans. I almost lost my balance once. I’ve mostly been playing with Claire and I do see her chest if I look down but do you mean you see Leon’s chest even when looking straight ahead?

I might be misremembering but I am pretty sure it automatically turns on when in dark areas. It’s equipped to your left hand so just point with it :-)

Yes. It’s like HL Alyx. Click the stick of your weapon hand and while holding the stick pressed, you move your hand up or down to select a weapon.

@@DiegoHang I don’t think so. I have never heard of anyone doing a vr mod for a Switch game. There are VR emulators for Switch games though. In those you get a giant screen in your vr headset on which you can play Switch games.

@@Fortnutterking Hell yeah :-). You get to build roads, you get trucks, roadsters, motorbikes, hoverboards, jetpacks for your suit. You can build up zipline networks that let you go all over the mapp without ever touching the ground even.

Only 3? Impressive! And they go all the way without you needing to walk? Also on the same side as mine? I’ve maxed out the relationships/stars with everyone so that helps with the bandwidth.

@@Primalsage Yes, one at the ridge before the big drop. I use the other side. You can traverse with a ladder to get to the chiral crystals on that side. then walk along the edge till you can drop another zipline at the halfway point. A climbing anchor helps you get down at the first big wind generator. there's a lot less obstacles to get in your way. If you place it carefully on the ridge you can connect Zips all way back down the hill to the distro center.

It does. But more than that, it needs better optimisation. The PS5 is able to render graphics like these at a better resolution and framerate without DFR.

Weeeeell, I DID edit out the boring parts between me finding the enemies :-D. Usually a full match is around 20-25 minutes
