NET Audio
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 5 ก.พ. 2014
NET Audio was started because we saw a lack of quality solutions for customers, locally and online. We started selling our custom enclosures online over 12 years ago, before we even had a traditional store front. The online enclosure side of the business was intended to fill any lulls in the retail cycles that this industry has, but it has taken on a life of it's own. Our online customers are treated the same as if they were in store, and that has gained us a lot of popularity with being able to create not only custom subwoofer enclosures to fit their needs, but also being able to offer then complete solutions and packages with equipment that we can trust. And we are extremely proud of the reputation that we have built and love our customers, online in town.
RAM Mega Cab Wiring and Sub Box
In this final post on this RAM Mega Cab Project, we give you a look at the install of the wiring and subwoofer enclosure. This one required a slight modification of the truck to get the enclosure in. A forward fire behind the seat enclosure using ARC AUDIO subs and amp. With 1100 watts on two 10" subs this thing rocked when it left the bay.

This kicks off the content on a RAM Mega Cab we did not long ago. Here we show the custom amp rack we build and installed. When all said and done the ARC AUDIO X2 1100.1 amp tucked under the back seat so the box and subs can fire forward from behind the back seat. This amp rack gives a tone of room to add just about anything you want under the rear seat. Wiring and Sub Enclosure due out soon. #...

We added a DD508 ported sub and amp kit to this Mazda 3 to give it a nice bass boost. This was plenty for this customers taste. The 508 on 500w in a hatch back is a major upgrade from factory. Quality work!!!!
Any chance this will fit in a Quad cab DT?
Sorry, this is only for the Crew Cabs. Not much room on the Quads.
I was thinking of getting a box for to 8 inch subs front facing for 2012 dodge ram 1500 can I cut out the metal under the seat
It's doable, but a lot of work and permanent.
Invoice #000780. Feel free to video and post the build of this box when it's time. I'd love to see how yall got me together.
I'll see what we can work out :)
very nice excellent work tho just kind of curious but with the fuse setup for power why not use a circuit breaker instead so that you never have to replace
Ideally, a fuse shouldn't have be getting replaced on a regular basis. If you're regularly blowing fuses then you have some bigger issues. And circuit breakers are great, in the right application. But constant tripping and resetting breakers takes a toll on their contacts and they do have a life cycle. Not to mention they are significantly more expensive. So for this application, we prefer to use traditional fuses.
Quality work once again!!!!
With amp and everything included what’s the price out the door for the one in the middle?
All depends on the options you choose, there are a lot of variables here. Shoot us an email and we can work with some options for you.
Im looking to run a kenwood 802-5, and a pac AMPPro AP4-CH41 (R.2). any chance you'd sell the box alone?
Sorry, these are all sold as packages only.
My 21 1500 rebel audio is distorted on my front driver door and passenger dash speakers for no reason can the pac remedy this problem
If you're adding amps and speakers, then yes, it will work great. If you're not changing anything else out, it won't have any effect on the factory sound system.
Im sorry people are so stupid that this video had to made!
They're not stupid, some people just have different skills than others.
Do you have T harness for 2025 ram 1500?
For what purpose? Adding subs?
Yes for adding subs. I have 2025 with the 19 speaker harmon kardon system
@@corydorris7495 the 2025 Harman 1500 Crews are different than the 2024. We know the plugs and the wiring and have the connector for the subwoofer plug on the back wall, we're just waiting for confirmation about the ANC bypass so we can bypass it without cutting anything.
Ok when do u anticipate having it figured out i really want to install my subs
@@corydorris7495 We need to spend some more time with a customer's truck. On the amplifier, all wiring for the ANC system is in it's own small plug at the amplifier, it is accessible from the front of the front seat at the amplifier under the seat. There are 4 plugs, 3 the same size and one smaller. If you unplug it, it removes all mic wires and 2 data wires. If you unplug it and drive it around, if it's not throwing any codes or errors then that's all that is needed and no need for us to get another harness made for it.
What are the best 3.5” speakers for the dash?
We prefer to run a component set for more power handling than just a 3.5" coax in the dash. If you just want to upgrade the dash speakers and leave the rest of the system factory, then it depends on which sound system is in the truck now to be a good blend with the rest of the system.
I have a 2018 300s hemi, recently swapped out the factory radio, because of screen delam. Have had a ton of bass inefficiencies. Lots of punch up front above the dash when you lean forward, but lacking from the driver seat and back from there. This is even with my CT sounds single 12" box with the Alpine R series facing the rear of the vehicle. I have two Audiopipe 15s and a JBL 18" Tornado series on hand, and was thinking about using the spare tire area to build an enclosure. You caught my attention when you mentioned an amp rack mounted there and use the tire retainer to hold it all down. I had the same thought with a custom 15 or 18" speaker build inside the tire well. I wish i was closer to you guys, as I live near Detroit, and dont drive the car in Winter months. But Texas is too far for me to offer my car for a doner lol. Any thoughts or tips if I take this task on? I was thinking of using fiberglass resin as my form inside the tire well, and build from there. I am running a Orion HCCA1500 amp.. Tons of power, and my head unit now is the Kenwood 1057XR floating head unit. I havent tried playing with sound delay yet, that radio has more features than i can comprehend lol Any help. Much appreciated. Thank you
What radio did you install?
@Netaudiowf Kenwood DMX1057XR
@@larrycairelli139 That has time delay in it. Give it a play and see what it does. It should help out.
@Netaudiowf will do. Thank you
Called to get more info & possibly order for my HK system. Was told 13-14 wk wait...from order, build, to shipping. Is this cuz of waiting list or backorder parts???
It's a combination of factors, mainly time. We're a small shop, 2 fabricators, 2 techs, shipping guy and media guy, and we stay busy. We typically have 100+ orders in line. When everyone wants something special and different, there is no way to predict and inventory the enclosures we offer. Same with these behind the seat setups. Normal enclosure orders are around 12 weeks, with these we do them in batches and they're pretty regularly 8-10 weeks, but still a wait time to get them mixed in with the regular orders. When we're the only people offering the solutions that customers want, they understand and don't mind the wait, others don't. I get it, but this is the world we live in around here.
Have you played with putting the Wavetech 12 in this enclosure? Seems like it would be an awesome upgrade.
We have planned to play with it, but haven't had the chance to yet.
Where do I order this ?
Right from our website. netaudio.com/product/2019-24-dodge-ram-5th-gen-1500-subwoofer-converter-for-harman-kardon-system/
Will this fit a 2022 Ram 2500 Crew Cab Big Horn? I have those cargo boxes under the seat so do they get removed?
There are for the 5th Gen 1500 Crew Cabs only. We have whole different designs for the HD trucks that don't require the tubs to be removed. netaudio.com/store/product-category/dodge-ram/2019-up-ram/2019-heavy-duty-2500-3500/2019-up-ram-crew-cab/1-subwoofer-boxes-2019-up-crew-cab/
Another masterpiece!!!!
Thanks!
I have a 2019 ram 2500 do I not need to pop the pillars off to do the two corner dash speakers? Also I was going to T splice them cuz I was told they don’t make adapters for those dash speakers but in the vid I saw you had the adapters
We do have adapters for the dash speakers, and no, no need to remove the pillars on the HD trucks.
Would the new ap4-ch42 be the one i need for a 2023 Durango with alpine system with subwoofer (10 speakers)
It should be, yes. The 42 has the two plugs at the radio that Mopar switched over to in 2021-22, but they didn't do it straight across the board. We have seen 2023s with the single large plug. I would recommend pulling the radio and double checking before ordering any parts for it.
I had subwoofers installed on my 5th gen, when I try to raise the volume it stops getting louder at around volume 25 but it goes up to 36. I’m not sure if they used a harness. Does this mean I need more power for more volume? Door speakers were stock and I switched them with kicker door speakers to see if this would fix it. No change. What do you think?
Part if that is probably the built in variable EQ that is in the system. It all depends on the system that is in the truck now and where they tapped into the factory system.
Your so right!!
This is a great video. Do you guys use the bass knob with PAC unit or do you prefer to use the one for the amp itself?
Depends on the application. If the amplifier's bass knob has a clipping indicator on it, we will use that one. If not, we use the Pac one since it's small. They're doing the same thing, so one isn't better than the other.
Will this work for the 4th generation RAMs?? I know the limited underneath box is a option but I was just asking about this enclosure possibly fitting behind the seat.
Sorry, we do not. There's not really that much room on the back wall on those trucks. Even some amps mounted back there keep the seat from flipping up all the way. We make a tome of under seat enclosures for those trucks, plenty of space to work with there.
I don't even feel this about judgment. I meant that you shouldn't complain about a process that requires very little mechanical savvy. Otherwise, take it to a shop... leave it to the professionals! I enjoyed the video!
Geeez... not a lot of mechanical inclination these days, huh? SMH... 💯
I don't judge our customers. We designed these for the novice to install it, so we're just offering as much assistance as possible.
So I was wondering if it’s possible to do three shallow den 12’s in a ram 1500 classic crew cab
Man, it would really need to be the right subs to make that happen. I'd have to do some mocking up and see if it will even fit.
So useable video! You helped me so much! Thanks a lot! 🤝🏻🔥💯
Glad we could help!
After sending a fullrange signal to the epicenter at what frequency should i cute it off on my amplifier lpf 50hz 80hz or higher
That's really personal preference. We try and shoot around 8-100hz. Really just depends on your setup.
Any news on the 2025 Ram install. I have a Limited.
We have info, and in short the behind the seat area is completely different on the 25s. More modules and computers in the way. We're thinking we can do something where eTorque goes but we're going to need a truck here for a bit to do some experimenting on.
Will this work with 4 channel amplifiers to improve factory or upgraded speaker's performance?
Sorry, it will not. This is is just for adding subwoofers to the factory sound system. If you're wanting to amplify the rest of the system, you will need to use the Pac AmpPro and our amplifier bypass harness.
@@Netaudiowf Thanks, can I add subwoofer first and then additionally Pac AmpPro in case I am still not happy?
@@st.s.3339 Sure can. Since this is plug n play it's easily reversible and you can upgrade to the AmpPro later on.
I just got this in, so I still have to run a remote wire from an accessory fuse?
If you're taking about the power for the converter, we piggy back off the new amplifier for power and it will make the remote turn on signal for you. We show you how to do that in this video.
Okay I was confused on the video, I didn’t realize you already had a line out converter mocked up next to the amp and I saw there was already a blue remote wire connected to the amp and then you were showing to plug in the ones in your hand to the amp. And on the web site it says I just need to run my power and ground. So I was unclear if the remote wire needed be ran as well from a fuse up front
Do you still run power wire from the battery and find a grounding point in the cab?
Yes, you will still have to supply your new amp with power and ground. We're just supplying signal and the remote turn on.
@@Netaudiowf Gotcha, you mention grounds a little bit, what would you recommend as a good ground? Wire wheel down to bare metal and use self tapping screw under the rear carpet behind the seat?
@@CodyBrown-w9z Absolutely. Make your own ground in the back, don't try and use a stock bolt or ground in the back.
Hows this compared to my box.
Yours is bigger and ported, no where near the same output or sound.
@Netaudiowf ok ty I was jw
What wires did you tap into from the pac to the anc
Man these plug and play setups are awesome.
Thanks!
Been holding back, does this have built in navigation? Automatic Bluetooth for android auto and apple car play?
I believe the built in nav is separate and is just a SD card with the maps on it. It does have built in CarPlay and Android Auto and that will give you maps.
I just built a custom ported down firing box for my SUV it turned out great
Downfiring in SUVs up against the tailgate works great! You're pretty much at the back of a megaphone so it's gets you a lot of output.
hey man i have a 2016 f150 and want to keep the factory radio and was thinking if i get the epicenter micro will it work with my factory radio ?
i have 4 8s under the seat and a 1500d amp new to this and thought id ask
@@cirojr5.0 It works great with factory radios. It has the high level inputs built in so no need for a separate converter.
@@Netaudiowf okay do i just spice into my speaker wire to get the signal and what about the power to the micro epicenter
you get the power & ground from the amp
@@erictejeda2035 Yes, we typically get power and ground for the Epicenter from the new amplifier location.
Adding only subs in 2023 Ram HK system...is there need to fix bass roll off with this harness/setup??? If yes, I assume I will need Audiocontrol LC2i?
I don't feel there is a need to fi it, but everyone has a different opinion on that. If you want more control, then the LC2i is a great way to allow you to tweak that to your liking. It's a great piece of equipment.
Sick
Are those audio control speakers and amp worth buying
We use them both regularly, very solid and good sounding equipment.
Question? I have an single Orion HCCA 10 inch 4 ohm (2K RMS) subwoofer in a ported box facing up to the trunk lid. I have no idea on this particular topic, but what is the best hitting direction? My sub plays great with waves of bass but I don't feel the impact (punch in the chest) type of the bass, which is very weird. My subwoofer box is from gately audio and is like a fortress, extremely well built. I got the highout alternator, 5K amp (running it around 3200-3600 watts), OFC zero gauge cables on everything, pounds of sound deading, but the bass is clearly heard more than felt, but I don't play very loud though. I keep my bass knob at 25% on purpose because I prefer lows over annoying loud. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Impact comes from your midbass, so that can have an impact on how it performs. Even if they're upgraded, if the time alignment isn't correct, or the crossovers on the speakers and sub isn't set correct, then it will have an effect on their performance. Even if one door speaker is wired backwards from the rest it will have an effect on the punch.
@@Netaudiowf does 4 6x9s count as midbass and or crossovers? Because that's all I have working as my treble.
@@jayboogie7956 if your doors are playing full range, then they are still playing midbass.
Quality work!!! 👍
What rearview mirror is that
I honestly have no idea. We didn't do this installation, we only supplied the subwoofer enclosure.
For replacing the door tweeters, I’m assuming I would need to use the same harness you used on the door speakers and dash tweeters? And there sold in sets of 2 right?
The door tweeter on the Harmans use the same plugs as the dash speakers.
@ 10-4 I appreciate it!
Where you buy you sub box
We build these. NET Audio www.netaudio.com
If I listen to rap and it had bass already would getting an epicenter good to increase thump ?
Generally, I think it makes music with deep bass get really muddy if you use an Epicenter with it, but that's also the good thing about an Epicenter. You can select how much of the effect you want and at what frequencies it affects. Just a little bit might be all you need to get the sound that you want.
