This project is a coherent musical work that has a total length of 9 hours. The sound recording is divided into 8 individual parts. Of these, 7 parts are between 69 and 72 minutes long. The eighth part is about 30 minutes long, so that at the end it will be 540 minutes.
The NINE HOURS Project was mainly composed and arranged between May and December 2017. Afterwards all instruments were recorded by Alexander Talmon himself in his studio until November 2023 and then the tracks were produced.
The music is initially strongly influenced by the classical progressive rock of the 1970s. However, the NINE HOURS Project consciously pursues the idea of creating interactions with electronic music (Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Michael Rother, Harmonia, Can, King Crimson, etc.), which in places (also consciously) establishes musical relationships to the world music of the 20th century. Of course the whole thing gets a certain "spice", because the technical setup (synthesizer, DAW, drums and guitars) corresponds to the current state of today.
The parts uploaded to TH-cam serve first of all to give listeners and interested people an idea of the musical spectrum.

Die Musik ist zunächst stark vom klassischen Progressive Rock der 1970er Jahre beeinflusst. Das NINE HOURS Project verfolgt jedoch bewusst die Idee, Wechselwirkungen mit elektronischer Musik (Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Michael Rother, Harmonia, Can, King Crimson, etc.) zu schaffen, die stellenweise (auch bewusst) musikalische Bezüge zur Weltmusik des 20. Jahrhunderts herstellt Natürlich bekommt das Ganze eine gewisse "Würze" durch die technischen Versatzstücke
