Hello! Im new to vacuum casting/casting in general. Im glad that there is so much to find on this on youtube. Im actually looking to make parts from IC 8620 steel. So it has a higher melting temperature than regular jewelry (1427 C). Would you have any idea on how to get that done? Will the mold bare the heat? I thought about building a kiln with Molybdenum Disilicide Heating Elements, that can go as high as 1900C. Im also designing a regular kiln that can go up to 1300C with a CAD program. That one is pretty much all done except the controller unit. Ive got links to it on my account. Ive seen that what you put into a casting is what you get out. So it all really depends on your shaping.. :) I think it is great people keep posting an videoing themselves doing their things. I should have done it too. But i dont have a good working camera (yet) that can film me doing my things. :( Thank you! Greetings, Jeff
