Been looking at this reel. Do you know it’s sealed? Comparable to a Salt X? Looking for a new reel for surf fishing.
It’s not fully sealed only semi sealed
Definitely smoother than a sealed reel however
Ganterel isn’t a glide just saying
if you reel it in like most 3 jointed swimbaits it swims but if you give it short reels like some glide baits it will glide.

I fish for trophy size striper in rivers and lakes. That's all i throw now is giant swimbaits. The other day I had a huge smallmouth follow me in almost went for it. (Close but no cigar) I was throwing a 10 inch castaic platinum swimbait. This was close to a record smallie. The record is 11 lbs. This was a 9 lb er. Easily. These are great big fish getters
Swim bait fishing is really unreal I’m just getting into it myself that big bite is addictive

The bass was handled for 15 seconds then revived before the video, always handle bass with care there’s always one clown who says “yOu HaNdlEd tHe bAsS tO MuCh” 😂
I got a few 2 lbers on a worm at a family camp like five years ago, which were my first largies. It's weird that the bass are willing to bite worms there more than other places, I've caught a six pounder on a worm there before.

On the water will be in a few weeks if you have any questions message me we were torn between models and ended up going with the Caracal because the width made the boat noticeably handle big water better we took her on Oneida a few weeks ago and she was a beast with the hot foot
Front deck would soaked on our 07 19 foot stratos the build of the nose on the caracal spits the water to the sides it’s wild

I can connect you with my dealer maybe get you line for next year’s testing model it’s a huge savings and you get all the new boat features/warranties bass cat takes it back to the factory and goes over the whole thing before selling them. But if you found one let me know would love to hear about it !

That is not a 250, the caracal is limited to the 225 because it is a 19 foot boat. Only 20 up can have 250 up.

What do you mean about a FLW testing model?
A FLW pro used the boat for 5 months over the summer before we got it. when we bought it we got full warranty as if it was brand new from merc and bass cat and it wasn’t registered with the FLW pro because they only fished it on private testing lakes. title says we are the first owners so that’s pretty awesome
