Sperry Rail Service 943
Doing some testing on the Wheeling at Summit St. They will work to Mogadore on the old ACY and north part way on the old W&LE. Akron Ohio on 7-31-24.

Seen with loads and empties on the CSX and finally on the Wheeling as they put the empties into Rock Cut Siding and return the power to Brittain Yard on 7-23-24. Sorry about the late start, lots of chatter on the radio and I missed their call at Exchange St.
Z641-19 with some L320 nosing around.

It's always a treat to see latter day EMD Swisher's and I only have one place to see them in Wisconsin. Then Tomahawk RR on 5 miles of track. Nice coverage of this unit operating at a fairly decent speed
Thank you, they have 2 of these units and both of them are daily drivers. Always fun to see.
Nice video and great spot
Thank you.
👍
👍nice👍
Thank you.
Excellent video Fred really enjoyed your video. Keep up the amazing work. Looking forward to more again and have a great evening.
Thank you so much.
An awful lot of those tankers have flat-spotted wheels... Great video, Fred!
I hear so many flat spots, can't be good for the rails to be hammered like that.
Nice
Thank you.
Nice
Thank you.
Another great vid Mr. Stuckmann. I can't help but wonder that when the bus station was built the powers that be never considered a pedestrian bridge at that location. I would hate to see the day someone is killed there, trying to beat the train. And it wouldn't be the railroads fault.

Odds few that folks would still opt for the shortest route. Before there used to be a bus station there used to be a footbridge there for people to get to the BF Goodrich factory a block away. BFG closed and the only people using the bridge were railfans. The bridge has been gone for decades. Thank you.

The dreaded, greedy CN...
Hadn't thought of them like that before.
@@fredstuckmann Basically, every growing shortline, they decide they want of a piece of an instantly bid to take it over, similar to how CP did as well before they disappeared with the recent merger
@@jessicaburdell7779 The fact that either of them gained such a large foothold in the US is disturbing, but after a while one grows numb to it all.
Nice catch of the Wheeling and Lake Erie 772 Stone Train.
cool catch.....so what exactly was the first "machine" doing ?....vertical alignment ?......distance between rails ? .....?? i like "mow" vehicles....so many and so many different jobs/uses and interesting little (some) vehicles.....
Another awesome one featuring their number 365! Our number 3134 recently got a new horn upgrade as of late. The P5 has now been replaced to a much better K5LA that sounds like one of the Chessie Seaboard's AC4400CW's
Thank you.
Thats a smokey one.

Trespassers...They never learn aside from the hard way, sadly and unfortunately
Had another one today, it never ends.

Nice train video.
Thank you.
@@fredstuckmannNo problem.

The wrong loco is leading on this one!
At least it had a flat car behind it. Thank you.

Nice video! Equipment is returning from Combat Support Training Exercise 24-01 (Annual USAR training) which ran from June 1-15, 2024 @ Fort Hunter Liggett, CA. The equipment is heading to Fort Eustis @ Lee Hall, VA then I presume line haul (Roadway) back to their bases. Units are from the US Army Reserve's 377th Sustainment Command, HQ @ New Orleans, LA including: 518th Sustainment Brigade @ Knightdale, NC 497th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion @ Salem, VA 424th Transportation Company @ Galax, VA 38th Regional Support Group @ Cross Lanes, WV 378th Combat Sustainment Support Batt @ Fort Indiantown Gap, PA 157th Combat Sustainment Support Batt @ Horsham & Willow Grove, PA 733rd Transportation Company @ Reading, PA + Det 1 @ Horsham, PA 413th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion @ Schenectady, NY 167th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion @ Londonderry, NH
Wow, thank you for breathing life into my video. Thank you for all that you folks do.
Interesting units!
Thank you. FPA4s built by Montreal Locomotive Works on 1/59 & 3/59 respectively.
The horn on this particular SD40-2, reminds me of the one CSX has on a lot of their flared SD70MAC
My favorite horn is what the factory put on the ACes.
💯
Great stuff Fred, congrats on the New Page. I'll be following.
Welcome aboard Bob, thank you.
Shame that, this time, they had 365 in the trailing spot
I know, but had it been leading, it would've been LHF, not the best look for it. Thank you.

I guess that driver needs to update their GPS 😂. I remember when south and voris were there, good spot to catch things
Hey there, how've you been? Nothing good happens in Akron after dark. 😂

Nice video, do you know a good time to catch i018 in Cuyahoga falls?
I caught it there today at 12:59 PM and that's pretty much within the window of what I've seen so far. Thank you.
💯
First time I've seen one of these trains roll through the New Castle Sub. In all of my life, I can't remember a single train on that line hauling truck trailers, whereas they've been a pretty regular sight on the NS Cleveland Line.
There have been trailers before this, but not many. Thank you.

Hey that went to Brewster today for derail damage
Thank you.
@@fredstuckmann not quite sure what I did, but you're welcome!
@@CDROM-lq9iz Provided information that I didn't have. 🙂
@@fredstuckmann shoot. Usually you guys on the trackside find things out before I do lol.
@@CDROM-lq9iz I'm not that detail oriented, I record it and other folks flesh it out for me, so thank you.

Hopefully not being banished to the scrapper, as rumored with the arrival of their C44-9Ws
The nearest scrapper is LTEX which is behind this train, never heard where they were headed.
